Corgi restoration "The Man from U.N.C.L.E" oldsmobile car No. 497. Toy, molded model.

In 1966, Meetoy showed in its catalog the Oldsmobil model from the series The Man of U.N.C.L.E. This year, other models featured in the cult series have hit the market. To display subtitles in your language at the bottom of the movie, please press C on your computer or the three dots on your mobile in the movie. The Oldsmobile model had Napoleon Solo behind the wheel, and Ilia Kuriokin was on the passenger side. After pressing the periscope, the figures appeared in the window and fired. The packaging had a display in which the U.N.C.L.E organization ring was mounted. There was a sheet of information hidden in the base. My Oldsmobile was almost complete, missing two tires at the front and the headlights on the hood of the car. I made them out of plastic. I have recreated the complete package. The ring is not exactly similar, because I did not find one similar to the pattern, I just meant to signal the full set to play. Corgi must have done very well selling toys that were the products of movies and TV shows as I had one of these, both James Bond cars, Chtty Chitty Bang Bang, the Monkey mobile, Bat mobile and a couple of cars from Captain Scarlet. Happy days and thanks for bringing those days back.
