I’ll never forget this weekend. This is when we used to have our annual back to school program under the Family Ministry. It used to be lit lit. We had a prayer breakfast geared towards kids and teens, a petting zoo, tumbling house, south shore drill team, Jesse white tumblers, and a bunch of activities on that Saturday. Mayor Daley would come speak to us etc etc. then that Sunday Bishop Walter Hawkins preached.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE this message by Bishop Hawkins. So wish there were more of his sermons available to enjoy
Obviously from hearing this anointed message, Bishop Walter Hawkins did more than write, sing, and play good contemporary gospel songs. God called him to preach too. This sermon was on point. He is now enjoying his heavenly rewards. RIP Bishop Hawkins.

Hi Trevor, Thanks for posting this message - so relevant and in a nutshell explained the walk of Sanctification and consecration. Please can we have more of Bishop's messages ? I have only just gotten into his music in the last week and now would e lovely to hear more of his messages. What an awesome gift to the Body of Christ. I wish I had the opportunity of following him while he was alive.
