When a band covers a song it's not meant to surpass the original, but to put their own musical style on it. That's what people never understand about Cover Songs.
And they definitely gave their own Milky Chance taste to it.

This remake saved my life. when I first heard it I was paralyzed and completely suicidal. I shattered the c4 in my neck in a wrestling accident. My upperbody was completely paralyzed. Had to relearn how to write and to use my hands... When it happened I was 190 lbs and dropped to 146 in 10 days... After a successful fusion and physical therapy im back to 100%. This song calmed me down on a night I didn't see any hope.... If it wasnt for Milky Chance covering this song and hearing it on the exact night I did. I may have made a permanent mistake for a temporary problem. Thank you Milky Chance/The pixes for the original. True artists never die. Thank you for your art.

This cover is amazing. They did justice to a classic and revamped it to refresh newer generations.
They took the song, and changed it into something that's more theirs, and i think thats why i like it so much. They don't do the "I want to sound EXACTLY like ________" rout which i feel too many bands strive towards. They took the song and made it into their own. It reminds me a lot of Kurt Cobain's cover of "And i love her"
