I would strongly suggest using some adhesion promoter on all the places the double side tape goes. Both on the piece itself and the piece on the car especially the ones on the outside because you don't want it coming off going down the highway. It is some very cheap insurance.

It looks beautiful! 👍🏎️. I'm surprised that you don't use the 3M adhesion promoter though. I'm sure you're aware but 3M makes it in a pen type with a felt tip as well as the small square sponges. You can't have too much carbon fiber! 😁 Great looking car!

Actually, no. I didn’t know they had an adhesion promoter pen. I need to look for it. Thanks for the info. Are you still in Clear Lake? I used to live in the Houston area.

@@FrontSeatDriver for those larger pieces you installed I would definitely use the 3M sponges adhesion promoter because you can get more coverage and then the pen type for smaller precise areas like interior parts. You'd go through too many of those felt tip promoters to do a large area like those pieces you just installed.
