Loved this! Thank you for sharing! Any recommendations for a first time character dining for a shy kiddo? My almost 4 yr old loves the parks but freezes when meeting characters. She will tell you all day long she wants to meet her friends, but when the time comes, she hides behind momma.

There are people all over that dress up and you can rent them to come to special events. Maybe pick a couple of her favorite and pay for them to come to your house so she gets comfortable ahead of your trip.

I’ve never done the pin trading; how does it work necessarily? If you have a Disney pin of any kind can you trade it for one on their pin boards? Does it have to be a Disney official pin?

They do need to be Disney pins but there are counterfeit pins out there so they try to weed through those so that all the pins on their board are official Disney pins. You can buy Disney pin starter kits at the gift shops!
