@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames Hell yeah! You've probably seen it but Geoff Darrow did the art for this killer "superhero" rpg in the 90s called Underground. If you haven't seen this I highly recommend you find a copy and check it out. It's nuts and I love it.
Shaolin Cowboy is my favorite Darrow.
For something current day, check out Daniel Warren Johnson. All of his stories deal with grief, loss, tragedy and depression in a brutal post apocalyptic/sci-fi setting.

Geof Darrow is a legend!
PKD was such an amazing writer in his short time. I really focused a lot on his work when I started reading science fiction and the just way he altered reality was something that very few of the movies based on his work have been able to encapsulate.
I haven't heard of Hard Boiled before, but it certainly seems to fit in that questioning mind of the works of PKD.

So I finally read this so I could listen to this talk. Hard Boiled is 2000AD and Heavy Metal cranked up a notch or two more. Loved it in the totally bizarre way of those comis/anthologies.

I had never heard of this comic until now but I just looked at the art and immediately bought it I'll come back to watch this and give my thoughts on Thursday! Also any chance you guy might talk about berserk?
Edit: I read it earlier today it was really good!! This is a weird analogy but it kind of feels like a hard-core punk song, short, aggressive, and to the point. I'll definitely read more geof darrow in the future!
