A ha!!!! I had wondered if there'd be a straight recording of this Joker's Jackpot/Bonus Game "win cue" without any in-studio cheering/applause or voiceover/host commentary. Thanks a lot for posting this one!! :) :) :) :)

Also used during the 1977-78 season (the first in syndication) as the car win cue.

When I was about five years old, I saw an episode of THE JOKER'S WILD where a contestant had won the "Joker's Jackpot" and THIS music was played. It was the very first time I had heard this tune when the contestant (a woman) won that grand prize. Believe it or not, even at five years old and even though I was excited about this big win on television, I still felt at the back of my mind, perhaps subconsciously, that this was a bit excessive and over the top for some strange reason. Even though I was excited about this particular contestant's great fortunes in winning the "Joker's Jackpot", I just didn't understand. In fact, my level of not understanding what all the hullabaloo was all about was intensified when Jack Barry used to word "MASS" during his sit-down interview with the winner in the aftermath of the on-stage celebration and everything had died down. Jack's use of the word "MASS" just didn't make any bit of sense to me. #Autism

The longest ever heard on the show was when Lucky Hundred was hit and another time late in the CBS run when someone won big and Jack yelled: "YOU WIN IT, ALL THE MONEY!"

Dunno why Henrik called it MARDI GRAS, when the music is more circusy. At least with his two WILD CLOWN tracks, we knew what we were in for, lol.

Sounds more like Bar Mitzvah music, which would make sense as both Barry and Enright were Jewish.

So hokey. Ol’ Jack Barry didn’t have the best ear for stock music. Thankfully he met Hal Hidey.

I agree...nice to have a clean copy of it, but it's just too over-the-top for a game show!
