Porsche 911 steering wheel swap

this video is only a year late. I swapped out the factory Tiptronic steering wheel with it's annoying shift buttons for a paddle shot steering wheel from DCT MotorSports. Olaf and I had a hell of a time doing this, honestly

The new wheel is 77.843x better then the old one. Nice work Olaf! (and Shane) lol

Hey Shane, I got an 02 996TT and I'm looking at the same mod and reached out to DCT. Would you be open to answering a few questions regarding your experience? Wondering how you think the horn/airbag cover match to the new Napa leather of the wheel? Also, is the wiring plug and play? Lastly, what made the install so difficult? Thanks man!

Leather looks/feels great. wiring isn't quite plug and play, and that's what gave us the issues. The hole for the ground wasn't threaded, so I assumed that it wasn't needed. I don't know if they all come like that, but something to watch out for
