“To stop the media from portraying him poorly.”
Yeah; he was average height for the time ya jerks!
Hey! I'm actually average height for the time! 😭😭😭
Any height deficiency was just due to the sheer weight of his _absolutely massive balls._
@@ToaArcan lol
If I remember correctly, after the defeat of the 4th colalition, Napoleon visited the tomb of Fredrick the great. “Gentlemen” he said. He passed his hat to an officer. “If this man were still alive, I would not be here.” If somebody like nopoleon can humble him self to the likes of Fredrick, it really says something about both of them.
Pretty freakin close to that honestly. Maybe remove a word or two
Aspern-Essling are now both part of Vienna. I live there. We even have a Victory plaza ("Siegesplatz"). There you can find the Schnitzelhaus Napoleon
Napoleon's sausage house? That's based
Well I guess it's a compensation for him for the fact that he didn't get his Pizzeria like Caesar
A compensation
I love Vienna. Was my first home after I moved out of my childhood home

In Leipzig, there‘s a ginormous memorial of the Battle of Leipzig called “Völkerschlachtsdenkmal“ (Battle of the Nations memorial). You have to be there in person to witness the true size of this memorial! It really does justice to those who died there.
It truly is monumental. It was even used during WW2 as a strongpoint when US forces attacked the city.
Thanks for mentioning Napoleon abolition of serfdom, the reforms get overlooked often
In a few months it'll be 110th anniversary of Napoleon's failure in Russia
What? I'm pretty sure you meant 210 yrs
And don't forget Louis Napoléon Bonaparte who became temporary king of the Netherlands: Het Konijn van Holland (the rabbit of Holland, he mistook the word konijn (rabbit) for koning (king)
And was Napoleon III's dad.
Love the Churchill-ism from the “we shall fight on the beaches” speech at 3:07
This was a great video, nice job on it 👍
I love your channel keep up the great stuff
This video opened my eyes to the new type of country-balls:
Country-countries!
After Napoleon left Malta the British made the island a crown colony instead of independence thanks A lot.
no problem
I mean the country did get independence in 64
You’re a welcome.
Thanks for that piece of history of my country.
man i love watching these over and over again!
Napoleon was one of the best things to have happened for France.
How so? The french had to pay the allies a huge amount of money after the hundred days
nice job, mate! keep up the good work!
The tiny ABBA, we love it
Thanks for doing the zoom call with my class

🇧🇪: Hey! Do you like our coin celebrating your defeat?🙂
🇫🇷: Not cool Belgium!😒
🇩🇪: So… Greece… when will have my money?
🇬🇷: Um… next week… maybe?🤔
🇮🇪:🤭
🇩🇪: I don’t know what you’re sniggering at Ireland!😒
🇮🇪: Aw…😔
Yes!
There's was also Napoleon's general who Napoleon put as king of Sweden and who promptly declared war on napoleon
shame they don't really teach the napoleonic wars who want to learn about all this awesome stuff
They do, what are you talking about?
yeah everything was just hectic all the time.
Who’s “they”?
I learned about it
Epic
What was Napoleon thinking rejecting the Frankfurt proposals?
He could have had all of Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Rheinland
But that meant he would lose all of his conquests in Germany, Poland, Italy etc. which would mean all those men who fought at Austerlitz, Jena, Friedland, Wagram, died for nothing.
@@kevin8712 the Rheinland though would still have been his and he no longer controlled Poland
The peace didn't held until WWI, the franco-prussian war must not be forgotten
Spain was Napoleon’s Afghanistan
More like his Vietnam
It really wasn’t at all. This is quite the myth though.
Lets goo
Why did he laughed when he said "Norway and Denmark joined the war with France"😂
your book is great
There is nothing we can do…
france: "we don't want to have a king no more"
Napoleon: "want to help me overthrow the king"
France: "yes"
Napoleon: "well now i'm the emperor wich is the same as king'"
Emperors have more prestige and power
As much as how you might think medieval kings are basically like supreme leaders or dictators, they must oblige to rules set by other aristocrats. Emperors are mostly the one that's closer to dictators, although Napoleon also had a council of advisors
@@sharkronical Napelon was actually good at governing
@@kevinsworldK.w69 nepoleon was one of the all time OGs , defeat the european powers with might and bravery, a smart man and one of the greatest generals/conquers of history. ALL OF the european powers shamefully defeated by one man and his intelligence/ governing skill.
@@annoyedbrox4851 Hes not one of the greatest he IS the best general
The ottomans: it’s fine
napoleon was in egypt, fighting against the ottomans
With help from britain of course
Do the Bosnian war(Yugoslavian war)
To be honest it feels like the same video just at a slower pace
Fun fact: Sir Arthur Wellesley was Irish
Yup! He was a Dub!
Can u please do the Titanic? Great video by the way😉
At the end you should have updated it with a joke about Britian having left.
Yeah just draw it being on fire but going "At least my passport is the colour I like".
Did I just see Ned stark on the road back from Russia 😂
Make a video about the second punic war
cool
10:21 I See What You Did There???????
Now time for Rome. I need my Roman era
Hi was in your zoom call yesterday loved talking to you
Napoleon Continental System: blocks all trade with Britain in Europe
Ottomans be like: ........................
Better than Cod remmastered

Ay lmao
Did France see the most power when they kidnapped the pope/vatican and that time they were led by a military dictator?
Was Napoleon really short?
No that is british propoganda
@averageman_ HEY Im actually Avarage HEIGHT FOR THE TIME
BLUHUHUHUHUHU
He forgot to remove the UK from the EU map at the end.
It said 2015
@@callumadams4943 Oh your right, it did
Avarage Heuht Fir The Time
Who's here because of the film
Me!!! I hated the historical inaccuracies in the film but I learned a lot when I looked up the historical figures in the film.
An interesting insight is that Napoleon's army was essentially pagan. One could differentiate the corpses of Frenchmen and Russians at the field of Borodino because the former would have animist, pagan and even satanist tattoos, motifs and trinkets while the latter had Orthodox crosses.
Later, when Napoleon returned to France it is said that the soldiers greeted him with "Down with the King, the Church and the Priests! Long live the Emperor and Hell!"
Honestly not a surprise, from a certain perspective, Lucifer is the original rebel against the unjust tyranny of a king.
Even today, modern Satanism is more about the dedication to a committed fight against tyranny than actual worship.
John d ruddy the only channel that is like EA doesn't make anything new just the same game over and over again just talking slower
Ah, being compared to EA! Now I know I’ve made it…
@@JohnDRuddyMannyMan Golden response. Could you do something about the Soviet-Afghan War plz?
@@JohnDRuddyMannyMan mate I was joking I like you videos I really do I would prefer you make them on new topics
Waterloo. Couldn't escape if I wanted to

I'm so great.
Century of stability after? Wasn't there a war with Prussia somewhere in there? Didn't go very well for the Frenchies
Relative stability in comparison to the insanity of ww1

Ireland wasnt under british control at the time
What ? It was conquered in the 17th century
@@mrworldwide7387 nah they just said that so they could say they had ireland but in our history books it said they never took over our country
@@REMAINS1666 what are you talking about ? You can’t just rewrite history. The facts are the facts and Ireland was under British control from the 17th to the 20th century
@@mrworldwide7387 no it wasnt in our history books they never did the british made people think they had Ireland

No
Napoleon wasn't that good of a general. All it took to beat him were some Brits on a hill and a hoard of angry Germans.
Yet, it took Seven Coalitions, countless infantrymen, horses, and about ten years to defeat the fun-sized French man.
@@jet.f Corsican. Napoleon wasn't French.
@@thefrenchareharlequins2743 Still French anyway
You seem butthurt
@@thefrenchareharlequins2743 he was of French nationality, but he was Corsican ethnically
This is a pretty piss poor summary tbh. Very disappointed with the lack of detail, information not mentioned and what at times borders on incorrect information. Do better.
Your argument is lacking a whole lot of detail too bud, maybe write down what he missed instead of a useless accusation? Do better.
