Have I got a good one for you today! When I spoke to the tenant that lives here, he was concerned about an upcoming end of lease inspection and wanted to get the place into shape. I said we could help, but it was going to be expensive, due to the size of the property. In the end we came to a fair arrangement and the customer got his cleanup and hopefully a passed inspection, and we got some good content. All up this job took 2 of around 7.5 hours to complete, and we took out a very full trailer of green waste, bricks, and rubbish. This is part 1 of 2.
Part 02: • Thick Overgrown Yard T...
Workers on this job: George (long pants) & Reece (Shorts).

FAQ's:
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 4 years on the job.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

I wonder if the renters were the ones who parked cars in the yard and destroyed it. If so I hope they have to pay to get it fixed. Major improvement with what you had to work with.
Especially when the driveway was just feet away. I agree the renters should repair the entire area on the grass where they used as a driveway. If the outside maintenance is any indication of the inside omg.
If they're renters, probably multiple people living there with different schedules. They don't want to block other cars or be blocked so they park on the grass. Not wise, but I've seen it everywhere here in the USA. Especially in college/university towns. The rents are astronomical. 3 bdrm/2 bths, 6-8 ppl bcs the rent is $2500+/mo [US$]. Its crazy.
Neighbors parks the same
For sure! They ruined the lawn where they drove on it.
I couldn’t believe that! What is wrong with people?!?!?!
I have to admit I have watched a ton of your yard transformation’s and you guys always do top quality work with a sense of pride that’s hard to find nowadays great job
Cheers 🙂👍
This episode was grand. Every part of it was on point. Your teammate is a hard worker and has caught on with the process. I love your videos, and the transformation is on target. Thanks for sharing.
Really it was one of the poor ones. Where was the city sidewalk edging?
Your young helper was excellent. Great job.
your helper is a good worker
From the vehicle marks in the front yard and all the cans in the bushes, I’d say it was a college rental!
Great job getting it ship-shape! And a great helper in the episode!
You guys work so efficiently together, in sync and do fabulous work. So enjoyable to watch.
I don't get it.... If a person is old, handicapped then I can see how the yard can get out of control, BUT if the person is capable and just plain lazy then this yard was a disaster and thank GOD, that there are good people like yourself and your partner that cleaned that mess up and looks perfect with of coarse the renter's NOT WATERING!! FIVE STARS to you both! 👍😎💯
I love the way you sectionise the areas of work. The only way to tackle such overgrown mess.
The master will definitely get a stamp, because he called the best people to help him on his land. You are miracle workers. Number one in the whole of Australia. You're doing well together so far, at least it seems that way :-) Another perfectly manicured garden !!!💯👍👍🌿
Thanks Jana 🙂🥰
Quick cuts to the rescue!!! Looks great. I just don’t understand how renters would destroy the grass when there is a perfectly good driveway. I wouldn’t return any deposit for that. Your helper is a real powerhouse. Good guy. ❤😊
I'm absolutely stunned that there was a walkway in the narrow, overgrown area!
Hello…..I watch all of your videos but, for some reason, this one really touched me. You are sooooo good at what you do….Reece seems to be in tune with what you need and when George…… you make a great team. I couldn’t believe there was a path round the side of the house! Goodness me those residents had let nature take over. Thank you for sharing the videos.
Outstanding work you guys are very good together lets hope Reece stays.
Fantastic job guys now you can have that beer.

Hello Grammy Bear 👋 I am a Grandmother from Illinois and see you from time to time Stay safe ❤
George...in this episode you were an archeologist!!❤
There was absolutely nothing easy about this job, you both did great.
Is it "beer o'clock yet?" Ah ha ha ha! Love it!
What a mess the renters made of the front yard, too lazy to cut the bush next to the driveway preventing them to use it, now their car messed up the lawn. I guess the’ll have to pay for repairing it. Your team did an amazing job 💪🏼👍 just wondering, why do you cut back the bushes right up to the edge of the pathways? Cut them back 15 cm further away and new growth will not brush your legs in the growing season to come.
I agree, 6 more inches would keep a skirt from getting caught in the growing branches. (A woman’s perspective.)
bonjour de la France
Incredible the way you transform a disaster into something beautiful!
You both do such a tremendous job. Ever found any snakes, or doesn't Tassy have them. You are both so hard-working and l just can't believe the amount of rubbish you find in amongst the weeds and scrubbery. It was a huge block to clear up. Not hard to tell it's a rental. Renters don't want to work on other people's properties. Great work 10/10. I like your standards.
Well done. And so glad the garbage cans were moved off to the side rather than right in front of the entry. 👍👍👍
Incredible the way you transform a disaster into something beautiful!! Amazing to watch the process as it evolves! Thanks so much! Love your podcasts. Great teamwork!
Excelente George!!!! Perfeito Reece 👏👏👏👏!!! Vocês dois estão trabalhando em perfeita sintonia!!! Maravilhoso ver os dois trabalharem assim!!! Saudações do Brasil 🇧🇷
Oh the crazy things you guys unearth under grass, bushes, and trees! Wow! What a job! You guys rocked it as usual! - watching from Lake Wales, Florida
When you uncovered that manhole I was shocked! It was totally hidden in the grass.
I watch a lot of yard renovations both front and back. The things they find, odd and not so odd, tell a story as it unwinds through a clean-up. I can't write what kind of story this one is telling. Although very interesting. Not necessarily bad but may be outside of community guidelines.
I enjoy watching you work. You always do a thorough job. Thank you for sharing. Good editing. Worth the extra length of the video. I'm glad you posted it. From Minnesota USA
I would love to see pictures of the yard when the current tenants took possession
What a transformation! It looks like the garden can breathe. I don’t know why people rent houses when they don’t plan to maintain the outside. It’s sad how it affects a neighborhood. Reece is taking more and more on and you too certainly work well together.
That's one dull chainsaw :D But great work! And thank you for this no music channel!
yeah, im a bit slack changing the chain over 😉
Just love it when you find thing’s amongst the bushes and show them to us😂
hahaha 🙂👍
Someone was hiding their liquid courage in the bushes before going home😂
Wonder if the owner will appreciate the tire tracks in front yard? What a mess! Looks much nicer now. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I was wondering about that too. Looked like the renters did not use the concrete driveway and made another drive across the lawn.
I always appreciate how well you clean out the underside of bushes and hedges. Details matter. 😉
Those two tire tire tracks up to the front door, should have added some sod or just threw some grass seed down. That's the only eye sore of the whole place now. Great job George & helper!!
I do hope you charged these people for their laziness and neglect. George you and Reese dis an amazing job with what you had to work with.
James Boags Draught - had a few cans of this over the summer here in the UK. Nice beer for a hot day! Indeed the best Australian beers are from Tasmania - Cascade is another favourite. By the way the garden came up great again as usual! I guess the rent review will go well.
🙂🍻
Ur worker is quite the worker! 😀😀
I appreciate all the work you guys do especially raking and picking up clippings. I’m so amazed others don’t.
Incredible team for a fantastic transformation!
Oh,Well done Guys!
This is by far the best yard clean-up I have ever watched on utube.
hahaha, thank you. You should see some of our other jobs 🌞
Well done guys, a lot of hard work, but you got stuck in a what a huge difference. Cannot believe all the garbage left behind. You are both working so well together so beautiful to watch. Bet the neighborhood is happy with the transformation.
Be well, stay safe........ Sylvia Canada
hahaha, as we were leaving, the neighbour across the road mentioned that it is the best the place has ever looked!
I love the way you do step by step, clean and move to another part!! Very perfect i will feel overwelmed😅hugs
A lot of work to get through but you managed it. Another Excellent clean-up, I'm sure the Landlord will appreciate it in the Inspection. Great Job ❤
If the renter caused all that damage to the lawn and drive then there won't be any bond coming back. That drives me nuts seeing gouges in lawns done by cars. The neighbours are well on their way to doing the same. Anyway, anther grand job by yourself and Reece.
Great job both of you. My word whoever parked on the grass and it private rented i hope they get it sorted esp when they have a space for the car. Looks like they couldnt park right even in the space occupied for the car.
Happy to see you got some help ,but it seemed to be better with just you...😊
You two make a great team ,very hard workers ,good job
Your new helper does a great job...
It will surely pass inspection 🎉
EXCELLENT WORK REECE!!
I cannot count the number of lawn care videos I have watched on CZcams. Sometimes, I get 'new' videos that pop up on my page to watch, and then I begin to get that "I've been here before" feeling. I often post a 'thumb's up' on most of the lawn care videos I've watched, and this is one of them. But my 'thumb's up' doesn't seem to be here now. Hmm? Oh, well, I guess watching this one more time won't hurt. 😆
I love your videos, and the transformation
Great job as usual , what a difference you have made to this property 👏👏👏👍
Never saw that side walk coming. Wow,
AMAZING ABSOLUTELY AMAZING YOU GUYS HAVE DONE IT AGAIN
George, you and your partner did an amazing transformation. Well done as always.👏🏻
Hola quick curts son los unicos en jardinería lo dejan bien como nuevo tú amiga Lupe pizarro de Cuenca Ecuador 😀😀🇪🇨🤴🏼🤴🏼👍👍👍👍
Another excellent job I really admire your gusto with which you a check for the weeds and overgrown branches. Merry Christmas
What a back-breaker! In the US most owners of rental or leased properties require a security/damage deposit of usually equivalent to three months rent. This property that you have cleaned has been terribly damaged by improper parking that totally tore up the front yard and made a wicked mess of the driveway. The neglect was obvious with overgrown bushes and rubbish all over the place. If this lessee paid a damage deposit then he/she should not be looking to get it back!
I noticed that the can that Reese uses to collect waste has split a seam. Should we be crowd-funding for a new one?
Thanks for the video.
Es asombroso, el trabajo que hacen , saludos y bendiciones 🙏👋👍
Front yard looks great..is there a part 2 for the back lol It looks long too.
Great job as always, guys. A shame about the tire ruts in the yard. I mean they do have a driveway. I guess they had their reasons. Thanks again, and God Bless you both.
Great rescue!
Did a great job. Myself I would have taken that big tree/ shrub all the way down. JMO You know us Keyboard warriors. LOL
You are both such hard workers too!
you 2 always do a wonderful job a dozen schooners each
Is this Reece still helping? Whomever is doing great helping!
Awesome job I’m glad you have help❤
That was a lot of work! Looks good now!
It will pass inspection 🎉
I love how you take an ugly shrub and make it beautiful
And here I was waiting to see how bad the backyard was!
What a hard mowing job...wow
Outstanding job gentlemen
Fantastic job once again

Ma préféré de toutes vos rénovations et la collaboration avec Reece est je trouve de loin la meilleure que vous ayez eue...
Great job gentlemen!
6:24 .... I don't think the size of the bushes will save him .... because of the wheel ruts in the LAWN
Awesome teamwork guys great job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻love the aftermath👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💯
Lovely! Great work!
Nice job you 2 & like how well you worked together
That side access to the back garden was almost unbelievable! I was wondering if you were about to cut it all down, and then you said the same thing. It just wasn’t wide enough for anything to be growing there.
I would have cut that shrub on the driveway with hand scissors if necessary, rather than destroy the driveway like they did by driving around it! And tearing up the lawn, Arrgh! Great work! 🏆
Very nice 👌 looking 👌 folks.
Awesome job 👍 Beer cans all in the bushes. Who lives there? Jonah from Summer heights high 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Amazing restoration, George and helper🎉🎉😊😊
Good work...lots of bushes
Incredible job!
Apparently I've been keeping beer in the wrong place. I'll move it to the bushes for proper storage lol
Wow, awesome job!
You two work great together!!
Excellent job .well done
Yet another great job. Always shocked by the amount of rubbish in people's gardens. Are you doing back garden cos sure looked like it needed some attention
Very Nice, hard work. Both work.
Looks great guys, you make a great team.
