Played holy in original vanilla, levelled all the way holy, wasn’t too slow and makes healing in instances much easier. My priest was human and had refusals for raids cos wasn’t a dwarf. I can’t wait for re-release as I packed up after killing Lich King because game got ruined. Imo Burning Crusade was WOW at its best so hopefully eventually that transpires
I find it interesting to try a human priest and have Divine Spirit and Spiritual Guidance, then smite and holy fire spam.

At lvl 13-15 with greater magic wand and wand specialisation it’s literally the best rotation to shield and spam wand until enemy dead and it’s so fast
Is it not a good idea to stack spell damage or shadow damage gear like shadow weave items? Is it better to get whale items/falcon items or to get pure spirit items even if it means your HP/mana total are lower?

if u play troll. shadow guard is incredible good for solo. it's the most efficiency way (and quick too) to boost up shadoweave (rank 1 if really hungry on mana), the alternatives is 3x rank1 mind flay, which cost lot of mana and slow.

No holy fire at the start of rotations? Seems mana efficient, I've been doing holy fire > mind blast > swp > wand and it is awesome
wow I really missed a lot of money saving tips: buy only rank 1 Ressurect, maybe consinder buying only rank 1 Psychic Scream (you rarely use higher ranks), maybe don't buy Mind Sooth (or Sooth Mind?) because it is a very niche spell.
unfortunately you also need to buy all your healing and damaging spells while leveling. Healing for dungeons and damage for questing alone.
As a priest you should rarely drink any water, because of Spirit Tap when questing alone. Hence you don't need to buy a lot of water. I usually buy a stack of water, but I always outlevel my water until the stack runs out.
Also should have mentioned that the Mind Control trick is very usefull when trying to complete an elite quest.
I agree with you on most of them except the one with Mind Sooth: I find it really helpful for going between mobs, especially when moving through places packed with humanoids that I wish not to encounter or when it is dangerous to pull too much
@@MrFnew fair enough. I never bothered to use it. Even though I buy it, whenever I could use it I forget that I actually have that spell and I just kill everything (or die)
Can you do super indepth rogue guide(as you gonna be rogue main), every stage of game, pvp, pve indepth,races(mby some unorthodox ones) it seems that theres not many really indepth guides, so its hard for me as a new player to understand the whole rogues leveling process etc

All these kinds of videos are coming soon but I don't want to explore the rogue until I'm actually there playing the class and figuring it out for myself. Otherwise I feel like the charm of playing a new class will be lost.

As long as you have wand spec and a good wand you can level any spec as preist.
Before you play a priest look up: the light, the void, Elune and the loa. The lore on priests is great.
Shadow priest was my main char from WTLK to Legion. But now on Classic I will try a hunter.
Don't. Hunters are not the same as pservers - go priest, guaranteed good time.
Shadow Priests are so good in classic though
low level rotation : shield, 2 x smite and not until then SW Pain ? SW Pain is a DoT, why not earlier so it can do more damage for its mana costs in the whole time ?
Instinct would say this, however there is pushback by mobs hitting you when casting Smite. So if you pull with SW Pain the mob will get to you and it will take longer overall to do that same amount of damage because of the pushback. If you use the videos’ rotation you will never get pushback.
This also allows you to cast more spells within the 5 second mana rule. Meaning you will start to regen mana quicker
Just questioning your choice to go 5/5 Shadow Focus.
As spellcaster you will always have a 1% chance to miss with your spells.
Against a target of the same level you have a 4% chance to miss. (3% hit is needed for cap)
Against a target of 1 level higher you have 5% chance to miss. (4% hit is needed for cap)
Against a target of 2+ levels... What are you doing? Run away and go to the correct area!
Fighting mobs below your lvl and above your level gives you reduced XP.
But also missing abilities just slows you down. So we take 2/5 Shadow Focus to reach the 4% hitcap.
There's always random mobs that can be a few levels higher tho. Like the end of slaying quest chain will have a mini boss. Up to you tho can sacrifice the reduced hit into more blackout points as it's also a really useful talent. Especially in PvP.
Actually you should kill mobs below your lvl. You get them down quicker and generate more exp, than while grinding mobs on your lvl and above.
Given that in hardcore most people don't fight mobs above their level of Shadow Focus it's not a good talent option if you want this build for hardcore
Instead go for blackout
And thats why this video isnt meant for hardcore but regular classic play.

You never use smite... If u want damage or more dots you use one holy fire in rotation with shadow w. pain then wand till dead.

Very good guide. I'd only add a preference of mine to go spirit tap first, because accessing wands at low levels is difficult, sometimes I haven't been able to get one until 15-20 anyway., so I always thought the spirit bonus, which is worth around 25% of a mana bar was very worth it. Splitting points across discipline and shadow makes sense, as shadow is crap until shadowform anyway so its probably better to be a hybrid for effectiveness.
Just buy a ward off the AH or another player in trade chat?

That spec is horrendous. Spirit tap for one should be first, not wand spec, and not getting silence / inner fire talents is also ridiculous. Yikes
He also didn't put a point in mind blast and is advising 2 smites instead of 1 smite and SwP straight after. This is not efficient lol
