the black metal vocals actually sound great and go well with melodic death metal, giving it a darker atmosphere. i really don’t understand why people are tripping so much about it
はじめまして、このPVでも活躍されたVoiceのMikuさん（現在ヴェールドインスカーレットさんを脱退されていますが、）が、かつて主催されていたバンドとかつてタイバンさせて頂いたことがあるものです。
彼のデスヴォイスはとても素晴らしく独特で、痛みや悲しみや孤独などの感情がグロテスクに生々しく表現されています。
彼のデスヴォイスは、一般的なデスメタルの歌い方と違う特徴を持っているものだと認識しています。
編集段階で他のパワー重視のデスメタルヴォーカリストと同じようなエコラーザーの掛け方よりも、肉声に近いエコライザーの掛け方のほうが、映えるような感じがすると思います。
ですが、この音源でも十分世界観があって満足して聞いています！
the vocalist, Miku Kuga is knownfor his child role in super sentai series "Choujin Sentai Jetman/ Winged Squadron Jetman" (1991-1992) as one of main villain called Tran, he appeared in that series from episode 1 to 37

曲は神なんだけどボーカルが･･･思いっきり賛否分かれそうというか何というか･･･。
Am I the only one who loves the vocals? Their gastly to me, and a nice backdrop as I like to focus on the music. They're not overbearing. Amazing job Veiled in Scarlet.

An absolute masterpiece of a song (and album)! I really enjoy the grandiose and gothic atmosphere that accompanies Reborn - it inspires my imagination to run wild exploring dark castles and dismal lands. Thank you for such wonderful creations! :)
By the way, I think the vocals are perfect - they're very abrasive, acidic and passionate which is exactly what should accompany this kind of music, I feel. Keep up the great work MiKu!

Instrumental part is awesome but I don't like those vocals :/ They don't fit into the music...Serpent and Idealism had better vocals imo.

+hghing heya They have changed the lineup a few times and before the recording of the "Reborn" album they recruited a new guitarist (Izo from Valthus) and a new vocalist (MiKu), which both also are present in this music video.
Hiroki (Quiet Revolution and ex. Serpent) and the new-ishly joined bassist (EN) left a while ago (most likely personal issues), which means they're once again short of a bassist in the band. But the mysterious bassist playing in this music video might be a new member which will be announced at a later stage (maybe?).
If just looking at this one song, it sounds way better than anything Keija has crafted post-SERPENT. The latest single way very good as well, but the new song reminds me more of their old stuff.
By the way, interesting choice of vocalist... :O
+Trancemaster Onyx It really does sounds like the old serpent stuff. Keija's drumming has gotten better also, those blast beats at the beginning are brutal AF.

This instrumental sound - Still sharp but emotional guitar solos and more dynamic/powerful drumming compared to previous songs - is very wonderful. Especailly, the guitar solos are just Serpent! Not 99%, but 100% :D (I think 2:31~2:53 / 2:53~3:13 / 3:13 ~ 3:33, those 3 parts are the perfect symbol of solos of Serpent.)
But I can't give high scores on that vocal. I've enjoyed all types of vocals of Serpent/Veiled in Scarlet so far, but this sounds like quite gollum/troll and maybe more well matched with Suicidal/Depressive Black Metal, not Meloic death Metal. There is no power and sharpness, just a little roughness.
So, yes, whatever,, I can't wait to this album! (10 times replaying x_x)
+Aura Of AEGIS for sure man. The solo starting at 2:31 is very cannibalistic dream sounding. The vocals are not bad at all and I do like how they are more prominent in the mix. Idealisms vocals were almost too buried into the mix I could count it as an instrumental album. Also wouldn't it be cool if they redid the underworld and scarlet with all new band members.

Talking about the vocals between those two albums, Idealism is just a problem of mixing, so it's not about vocal's quality or harmony, but this is a problem of overall harmony(balance). I think It makes the completeness of this song a bit lower.
Ah, but actually, I'm not saying this vocal is bad, just there is a little sorry to my taste :) Still nice and like it!

Honestly only two songs are the same. I often confuse " Blaze of Resurrection" with this song. The rest is pretty unique.
バックはめっちゃかっこいいし、サウンドも素敵！だがボーカルは・・・。人選ミスちゃうか？蚊が鳴いてるように聴こえるのと異様にリズム感が悪い・・・。これだとライブではバックに完全に負けてしまいそうだし、リズム感の悪さでグルーブ感崩れそう・・・。
