remember when magic had basically one printing of cards and coverage could understand what card is being played. then the secret lair attacked. those were good times
Idk. We had future sight well before secret lairs lol. I have a giant I opened from future sight and I thought it was a token… nope it’s a normal creature. 😅

@@Creme_theDON it’s pretty similar to most of the secret lair jumbled frames. Outside of the poster variants and real oddball ones, secret lairs are pretty tame.
@@pokedadsam9041 my last comment was also not just for secret lairs… the new lord of the rings foils with hard to read text, too much going on with the card. That could’ve easily of been a secret lair. Future sight is still infinitely easier and more appealing than any secret lair if you’re still trying to defend secret lair cash grabs.
@@Creme_theDON you’re conflating whether the card is legible with secret lair cards and your dislike for them. I can assure you I have more legible secret lair cards than illegible.
And no, Fomori Nomad, looks exactly like a token and has 0 flavor text. There are many other future sight cards with the same issue. Casting cost on the wrong side of the card, no flavor text, token frame.
