I haven't installed the latest firmware yet.. That reminds me that I should get on that haha. Either way though, I'm sure they made improvements on the S1 auto focus however I will still remain filming in manual focus. I just feel I have more reliable control over my focus peaking if I do it myself.
Very helpful! Many thanks to you. Question for Z Cam owner: how much it cost in total for your personal rig (excluding lens) for the moment when you start to feel yourself comfortable for using Z Cam E2 S6? Do you missing something (storage limitations, EVF, electronic-ND, etc)? Maybe something was not necessary?
I would personally go Zcam but only because I would rather have that cinema grade quality. That R6 has amazing auto focus and is an unbelievably photo and video/vlog camera. They each serve their purpose!
Good vid and comparison! Currently still on an A7s2 but waiting on Blackmagic to drop a Pocket 4k spec'd camera that's cube shaped for cleaner rigs - essentially a zcam but with BRaw instead!
Man, I know people that still use the A7Sii to this day and their footage is on a whole other level. That camera is unbelievable and a staple Sony video camera in my opinion. the Blackmagic pocket 4k's are also really sick. Their colour science is unreal but I can't get around those ergonomics of the body haha. We are looking at purchasing the Black Magic Ursa Mini Pro 12k sometime next year. Never thought I'd say I would be straying away from Lumix.. But they haven't released a cinema camera in years unfortunately. -RoyalZ
@@RoyalZProduction well there are a couple videos on how to use the 6k video Funktion. But the 6k 12bit 422 pro res raw will come with the next update as stated on the website of Panasonic. There are many cameras I would like to have. However I need the ibis as it enables me to really leave my tripod at home when making some family videos:-) if I was a real professional ibis wouldn’t probably be an issue as the second most important investment with a camera is a good tripod such as the ones from sachtler
i hate s1 i upgrade my camera to a7iii and i am happy here is thats why; auto white balance more accury, autofocus, small, good 8bit. s1 has good colors for sure
Really?? I love the S1! The A7iii I felt the in body image stabilization wasn't that great, the colour science made for more difficult and unnatural colour grading and the low light with the 8 bit broke up heavily for a full frame. However, the autofocus and the photo capabilities make it an amazing hybrid camera. I still rock with the A7iii but I guess I'm just a Lumix fan boy haha -RoyalZ
@@RoyalZProduction bro i was a biiig lumix fan boy its great system for sure. I use gh5, gh5s and s1. Sony a7iii with hlg3 colors are realy good. I shoot fashion backstage run and gun. One man show. I dont shot handheld any more 😂 i miss that future
@@LucaBono.Studio you right :) i have ust one regret stabilization. Almost i never shot handheld anny more. Mine s1 was almost perfect but autofocus and auto whitebalance problem and also highlight and shadow latitude wasnt good enough. I never go back to lumix again never

Any idea what Matt box Dyson has on his Z Cam ?
S1 represent!! How are you liking the newest firmware update? Do you think the autofocus is better now?

Nope 🦄🌈😂
@@RoyalZProduction would have been better right. Since it is has angles now, just like the S5.

Hey man! Hit up Dyson on IG and he can answer any of your Z Cam questions! @99.Films
Great video! It's not only because I've the S1...but the S1 is more versatile.
For pure video with cinema quality, I would go with the pocket 6K.
The S1 is not a DSLR, it is a mirrorless camera.
Incredible work this was very informative!!
Ayeee thanks!
Would you choose an Eos R6 over the Zcam S6?

Great stuff guys, mu h appreciated 👍
why don't you talk about recording time limit?
I don’t believe the S1 has a recording time limit. Not 100% sure on the Z cam but I believe it’s also unlimited
S1 shoots 6k in 420 and will shoot pro res raw soon with the ninja v
Is that with the new update? I'm lazy as hell and haven't updated my S1 lol. We ordered a RED Komodo so I haven't really prioritized the update.
