- Beginner guitarists learning online have an overwhelming number of lessons and courses to choose from. Luckily, you only need this one.
This video condenses all of the most important fundamentals from a range of guitar books and online courses, into one quick and easy to follow lesson. Presented in a fun but thorough way, even if you’ve never touched a guitar before, by the end, you’ll be able to hold your own even in the company of more advanced players.
We break down everything from guitar anatomy, to easy guitar chord charts, and even how to read tab! It works whether you’re learning on acoustic or electric, and classical guitarists will have fun too (probably)
Soon enough, you’ll be playing your first song.
Enjoy!

Just bought a grand piano to tune my guitar, it should sound great now.

This video was so funny and actually helpful for a complete beginner like myself. Maybe some of my videos can help you out as well.
The best part about this is your breakdown on form. Literally every teacher is just like “here do it like this”. U actually put the action into words. I’m feeling more confident about learning guitar!

I’m a bass player of 8 years, but I like playing guitar on the side. I hate videos where it’s jus boring shite showing the main few chords and not telling you anything about the instrument. This video actually kept my attention all the way through and inspired me to play guitar more often then just an occasional thing.

I love how the first acoustic sound was the first chord of Wonderwall, and the Piano was Runaway
and the electric was smoke on the water
I love how it’s made funny and isn’t boring but still has everything you need to know and gets right to the point. Hardly any others make sense but these are gold.
It's 4:48am, cant sleep. Ive played guitar for 7 years and have 0 reason to watch this video - aanyway clicked and enjoy the fast paced style and humor. Glad videos like this exist now for brand new players :)

My dad's electric guitar has been sitting on top of a mini tower for years, so I decided to grab it and sneak it out of the garage into my room. We'll see how long it'll take for him to notice, but in the meantime, I'm gonna try to learn.

about two years ago i spent like a week looking for information all over youtube about getting into guitar

Wow, unbelievable number of views and comments! Congrats on finding the optimal formula for getting your points across about guitars and guitar playing in a simple yet comprehensive enjoyable manner. You are definitely helping a lot of new as well as experienced guitar players in the world.

This made my life sooooo much easier! My dad is a pro guitarist and (since I’m his own kid) always explained guitar FAST like it would come easily- it didn’t 😅 BUT the humor and simplicity of this video did make it feel simple to play so thank you! 😊

Honestly to me it sound more like all these things I hate by BFMV but maybe that's bc I usually listen to metalcore as opposed to acoustic pop rock
I almost fell off the bed laughing at the Jimmy Hendrix bit. The absolute embodiment of how I feel when I am inspired by a piece of awesome music and the harsh light of reality of the level of my playing........nice to know I'm not the only one. Thanks for the video!!

i've been playing for a couple years now and I have no idea why I watched this, but it was so worth it, COMEDY GOLD.
Got my first guitar today and I‘m trying to teach myself how to play (because I have no money for guitar classes lol). This video helped a lot to learn about the basics.
Wish me luck guys
ooo hows it going????
how u going?
My best friend told me that she‘ll teach me the basics (she had guitar classes 10 years ago which I didn‘t know when I started lol) and shows me the first notes and easy songs which I repeat until we meet again.
I guess it‘s helpful if you know somebody who can help you if you don‘t understand something and corrects your mistakes
The progress is slow but I notice how it gets easier everytime I repeat what she taught me.
If you don‘t have somebody you can buy a book which explains everything. That‘s how I practice from time to time and she recommended this to me
(Sorry for my english lol)
