Congrats from the U.K. , so many people seem to make bad comments on land rovers but come on your car looks fantastic and probably more luxurious then some modern vehicles, how many cars etc would be in the scrapyard with that mileage or look junk inside and out , never been in one of these (own a evoque) but so many people talk about the comfy ride and solid they feel , that it more then capable of going off road
It looks really nice, clean IN and OUT despite the high mileage! Congratulations on getting one. I am falling in love with the LR3 with all the videos I've been watching. I gotta get one, too. I am so in love with this truck now.
I saw that listed and had been watching it for as long as it was up. They dropped the price quite a bit so I hope you were able to get a real good deal. Very nice looking Rig!
For your sunroof. Press and hold the open buttfor like 20 to 30 seconds until it opens. This is how you can reset it. If that doesn't work then take it from there Love it in white. You'll love it. Still a Land rover, but most dependable. Get the GAP IID tool. It's really must. Especially when it comes to the air suspension. Enjoy!
While the sunroof would be fun to have working, I'll most likely leave it shut for now just in case I end up getting it open and then can't get it shut 😂 I appreciate the info though!
If you haven't fix your sunroof or tried this possible fix turn key to accessory and push and hold sunroof to the closed mode for over 30 seconds it should open and closed. This will reset sunroof while still holding the button closed I had same issue I checked fused not blown bough switched nothing worked a CZcams said hold it in open mode to reset sunroof which was wrong you need in closed for over 30 seconds try it let me know if works it did for me good Luck
Yes! I've actually found that those plugs will go to the radio and the DVD player has a button for "FM" which will transmit the audio to a set station I'll have to make a follow up video soon 👍👍

Congrats man! Yea definitely get that radiator flushed out and refilled with the proper stuff. I'd take a look at rockauto.com for some parts as well. Best of luck to you in restoring! If you have Instagram I'd love to see the progress
I am retired guy and going through a lot of mental agony because i want to get an LR3 when everyone and their dogs are saying that i should steer clear because of reliability. I would drive maybe 12,000 kms a year. I am not mechanical savvy and do worry a bit that i may end up with maintenance bills that i cannot afford. Maybe buy a warranty at time of purchase? Pricey but peace of mind cost.
I’m thinking about buying a 2005 lr3, I’m seeing a lot of things where people are concerned about reliability. It has about 150,xxx miles on it. Should I be concerned about the reliability and stay away or what has been your all experience with these?
Honestly, I would say Land Rovers CAN definitely be more on the pricier side for maintenance in terms of regular maintenance/repairs. Just like any used vehicle, it depends on maintenance history. If you can find a shop that lets you use your own parts and doesn't charge a ton for labor then that would save you quite a bit. The things I've definitely done with the RRS and LR3 is the coil suspension conversion because I've heard/seen the air suspension failing too often. I would recommend having another $2k to $3k saved in case of other repairs for that first year just in case 👍
Hi May I know where did you buy fender flares and how much did you pay for them. Please send me the address of place that you bought and price you paid . Thank you
@@chippedtoothzabalandco.676 I love the look of the D2 Hurricanes on this truck (and not really on D2s) but they have to be machined to fit, otherwise I'd do it in a heartbeat
@@EnterTheRover Thanks for quick reply !!! How well it has served you ? I am looking at a well maintained 2006 LR3, new control arm, air suspension. But, I will be using it in -40F winters. Kind of worrying about the suspension ? Any suggestions before winterization ?
I would be sure to test the air suspension before buying, if it's something you plan to keep on the vehicle in the winter. Wouldn't want any issues when it's cold out! Our vehicle has been fantastic, haven't had to replace anything yet. It was already converted to coils when we got it, and on a set of new BFG K02's 👍
Mine is 211,000 miles. Purchased at 138,000 miles. 2006 SE 4.4L V8. Had it for five years. New drive shaft joint, new compressor, new front driver side door motor, new oxygen sensors, etc.
@@EnterTheRover Yes, it's been quite reliable. The air suspensions are all original parts, and haven't been changed. They still function with no issues. That's 16 years! That's phenomal quality. Make sure you check your rust undercarriage. Add a few layers of undercarriage coating to extend the integrity of your components.👍🏽
I have an '07 that now has 160K miles. Love it
That's awesome congrats! As long as you treat it right and maintain them well they are fantastic vehicles 👍

It really does depend on how the vehicle was taken care of prior, just like any other vehicle! These are very special indeed

Very easy to fall in love with, even with some mishaps. Best of luck in your search! Cheers!
I love my LR3! It’s a very capable off-road with Jonson rod 3inch lift, bigger all terrain tires and smaller rims.
Absolutely agree, one of the best vehicles I've ever owned! 👍
glad to be watching the fleet grow, congrats!
Thanks!!
In the market for an LR3 and youtube recommended your video!
Glad I clicked on the video, that is one sweet looking rig!

Great spec video. Would like to ask, do you know what Land Rover rims are those?
Thank you! They seem to be the stock Discovery 2 wheels but painted black 👍
Did you fix the sunroof brother ? Easy fix if you need help.

Oh they were already on the vehicle, I bet you'd be able to find them on Ebay though!
Just tried my disco 2 rims like your on my 3 and they didn’t fit.. 😢

Whats the diff between lr3 to a lr4 ?
The LR4 has the bigger 5.0L engine and updated interior/exterior but not as reliable as the LR3
That is impressive on a bmw motor
It's a jaguar v8 or Ford v6 petrol or Ford v6 psa diesel owned by Ford at time not bmw
How much did you spend one this 260k miles rig if you dont mind ?
Don't mind at all! $4000
