    My wife just got me this for an early Father’s Day gift and I love it, cooked eggs this morning and dropped them on after cooking the bacon. 🤤 it was soooo good. Cooking steaks tonight. Thanks for the video!

    I have the 22" and have used it every day since I got it. Place a couple quarters under the front of the grill to give it that tilt you want. Also I purchased a Fox Run 3-In-1 Bowl Scraper from Amazon. Perfect to place between the lid and the grill to stop your hashbrowns or sausage coins, etc. from sliding down the grease drain. You do have to remove as you shut the lid, but it's perfect for helping move things around and scrape the griddle. Had other flat ones but this has a handle is so much better.

      I love that idea about the quarters! Thanks 😊

      I ordered some furniture shims to go with mine that I just received, waiting on the shims though. I have a winegard that looks like it might work for the grease trap, but I am going to be very careful as not to scratch the back lining. I've yet to cook on it yet, I only 36 in gas version and I'm a little apprehensive about the cooktop, is yours still holding up well, you said you cooked on it daily? I'm excited to cook on it just a little bit scared.

      @@MrFordguy73 I still cook on mine almost daily, at least 5 times a week. I am still in love. Looks brand new. Clean so easily. If I cook something that really leaves a residue, I will put a paper towel on it, and pour just a little hot water over the towel, (Just a little to dampen) By the time we are done eating our meal I can take the paper towel and almost completely wipe it clean.

      @@CharlieB.-yeah, I just sold my 22 propane bottle, and I was eyeballing my 22-inch E-Series, I'm hoping it will fit over the top of my sink for indoor when it's colder than a witches titty outside.

    Thank you so much for publishing this! I just received a Blackstone E8000 and was lost. Loved how you walked through using it! Would you mind sharing your ratio of the salt/pepper/garlic powder/onion powder seasoning you used? It sounds simple yet amazing! Thank you!!!

    The girlfriend just got me one I love it so far. Only problem I had was the cooktop warped when I was at 450 but straighten out when it cooled

    If you want it angled back, why not put a little wood slat on the front to add a slight angle so the grease flows backwards.

      Btw with steaks get a dome to really hold the heat n moisture in , and put garlic butter on top 😂

      I was thinking the same thing, however Blackstone themselves said not to heat up the unit without food on it, so that would be my only concern. I haven't cooked on my 22 series yet, and definitely haven't thought about steak yet, I want to start off with some easier stuff first, I do not want to screw up my steak.

    To sear you need higher temp. 550 or better

    Why 375 degrees??
    Why not 500 degrees for a hotter heat 🔥??
    Wouldn't that create a better sear on the outside of the steak???

  • @honestnewsnet
    @honestnewsnet Před rokem

    Impossible on Blackstone griddle. You will ruin that steak. It needs to be seared at 500 degrees. That griddle will take 15 to 20 min to come to temp. I regretfully have the 22 inch.
