      Rodney Chastain sorry that bothered you. Somewhere close to 112 in the shop when this video was made. I deal with the heat, you deal with the noise. Or don't watch my videos.

    I know this is an old vid but I can’t find a specific tks 3.0 carb rebuild kit. Did you use a standard 3.0 rebuild kit?

    • @HamiltonLandWorksLLC
      @HamiltonLandWorksLLC  Před rokem

      Boats.net would be my first place to look, then ebay. If you can't find one there check in with any local shops that only deal with older boats. The shop I worked at had a surplus of old kits. I'm no longer there and can't speak for parts availability. I also can't say that a standard kit would work. Subtle changes are made to marine components to meet uscg standards and to not allow automotive comments to work. Carbs, alternators, and starters are usually the first things you'll notice are different from auto to marine.

    What rebuild kit did you sue having a heck of a time finding 1

    Hey Charlie. Thanks for doing this video, one of the few ever done! After doing all of this, are there adjustments to be made once back in the boat?
    I have a 2006 4.3l TKS and it has a rough idle, probably something going on in the idle circuit. Boat runs awesome outside of idle.

      You shouldn't have to change any thing, pending that the engine ran done with the current settings before the issue started.
