My mom has this exact phone and she could not block any new numbers as it only lets her block 50 numbers. This was such an amazing instructional video that my 70 year old mom understood and could follow it perfectly! Thank you!
70 years is NOT old!!!
Thank you SO much!! i knew how to block a call, but yesterday I made a mistake and instead of blocking the telemarketer that had just called, I blocked one of my closest relatives! you showed us, in a super clear, super fast and easy way how to unblock a number. Thanks again!
Thank you for the video. My mom's phone is similar, so I had to find the same options in the menu and it worked. She was getting calls from the same scammers all day long. A few minutes after blocking one of them they called again! The phone said "caller blocked" and then showed up in the caller list, so we knew it worked. Now her answering machine will be free of tons of messages!
I have a newer Panasonic phone with call blocking for up to 1000 numbers. Unbeknownst to me, another family member bought my mother a new cell phone with a new number. She tried calling me, & since it was an unknown number, I blocked it. This video helped me figure out how to reverse that. Many thanks to you Nan!
As for Panasonic, I've used many of their products over the years & I'm completely satisfied except for one area. They could do a much better job on the operating manuals.
Thank you so much! Unblocking is not in the manual, and I could never have figured it out.
Thank you so much! I have the same phone and your instructions were clear and concise. I appreciate you taking the time to do this!
Thank you, Nan! I accidently blocked my neighbour's number and was able to finally unblock her using your simple clear instructions. My Panesonic phone is newer than the one you used in your demonstration but it worked just fine, thanks again.
THANK YOU Nandini for this information! I've been trying to unblock a number by simply using the unblock feature - and it wasn't working! Your video showed me new info on how to get at the blocked numbers & erase the actual block! THANK YOU!
I deleted all 250 blocked numbers but now I cannot block any calls! I am going through the steps exactly as before. Thanks for this video. I deleted them by viewing the previous video and then your video was the next one up. Very nicely done--better than the previous video. Thank you! Hope you can help me with the ability to block new numbers.
Hi Nan, your directions were straight to the point and so easy to follow. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you!!! After getting 4-5 robo calls this morning, I knew I had to do something. Easy to follow. Works exactly as you showed!
Thank you! Nicely done. You've helped me get rid of harassing telemarketers that totally disregard my state's Do Not Call List
Thanks Ann. I am happy to know that.
@@gomesnan when a blocked number calls will it say that it is a blocked number on the speaker or will it just not ring? We had to block Grandmothers grandson from calling every day for money. She is 95. She can't tell him no. He will take her last 20 dollars.
Thank you so much! We got our phones Christmas 2021, but they are still enough alike that I was able to do it following your directions. I was too lazy to dig out the manual :) so really appreciated this
What an easy and very clear explanation! Thank you!
Thank you so much for uploading this and for actually showing how to do it and undo it. I needed help undoing it. Thank you so much!!!!!
Thank you for the "secret" of editing the call block list so as to erase some to make room to add others (since the list can only hold 30 numbers).
Thank you for this, I was starting to look into purchasing a new phone and I found this wonderful presentation about how to UNBLOCK A NUMBER. Thank you, sweetheart!! 😉😉
Thank you very much Nan, I can't find the manual nowhere, either client support. I woulda never guessed how to do it, you made my day.
Some heroes wear capes. You mam, are another better kind of hero.
Thx, Nandini. Very helpful when you don't have a 10-year-old manual.
Thank you so much. Your instructions helped me unblock my sisters number. I have a newer Panasonic and your instructions worked...thanks again Nandini S
Your great demonstration helped me unblocked child’s school number. TY
A huge Thank You! didn't know my phone had that feature.
Thank you, it's very detailed. I always get piss when these random calls come to me and I end up losing connection.
Easy?? You must be joking. The model I have in Australia isn't even featured here in Australia and your instructions are as clear as mud.
Thank you very much!! I have the exact same Panasonic phone model & i wasn't sure i could find out how to do this.
Thank you so much!!! You're a life saver! I accidentally blocked the wrong #. :)
Thank you so much! Your explanation was so clear.
Thanks, had this phone for several years and didn't know how to block.
I have Panasonic handset 2019 model and your video still helped thanks
Thanks so much! Just what I needed. Can't find this info anywhere else.
Thank you. It still works after last comment which was 4 years ago.
Good to hear
Thank you! It actually worked like a charm!
Thanks! I couldn't find my list of "#" codes! (I just "fat fingered" a block and couldn't figure out how to undo it!) l probably reblock it in the future LOL!
Thank you. Just made my life less annoying!
Thanks so very much for this video since I went to Panasonic website which didn't help keep the videos coming
Thank you so much Nandini. Your video was very useful.

thank you very much! you saved my live!
THANK YOU!!!! I just was able to block a harassing troll!!!
Wiccan witch is
Thank you dear Lady. Done. And done!
Thanks you very much very detailed.
You are awesome! Thank you.
Thank you for this info. Would you know how I could access the log of the calls I placed? Thank you.
Hi DD, one way to check your call log is by going to your online account of your service provider. Checking your bill statement it should show all your in and outbound calls. The redial on the handset usually shows the last 5 calls I think is your phone is similar to mine. Hope this helps.
Thank you very much for this Video!
Thanks a lot di , love from India 🙏
Thanks, it works!
OMG!! Thank you Nan sill i accidentally block k my sister inlaw which i didnt mean i was so worry just if someone find out that. You helped girl 👍.
Very helpful. Thanks
Thank you so much for these clear instructions. Once a number is blocked, can the blocked number still be called as a outgoing call?
I haven't tested that option before. Assuming that a call block is blocking an inbound call an outbound call should be able to go through.
Thank you!
Thank you so much.
It worked thank you so much!
I have a question what if the numbers are always different and always start wit the letter v
Thank you Nan!
Okay, so I get about a dozen nuisance telemarking and scamming calls A DAY, every day. When the CPR Call Blocker isn't working (as it isn't now), they come through to my landline phone set. This means I have scores -- and very probably hundreds -- of numbers blocked on the Panasonic. What if you accidentally block a friend's number. Searching through a list of two or three hundred blocked numbers is not very practical. Is there a fast, reasonably simple way to search for a specific number that you've previously blocked on the Panasonic?
Thanks for the info, especially about deleting the number 1 at the start of the phone number. Now, maybe my range block will finally work.
I hope it works.
Is it necessary to delete the number 1 at the start of a blocked number? Why is that? Thanks for you video.
I haven't tested it with the 1 included but I think it should work as well.
Getting message off of phone when you are out of towm
thank you ,worked perfect
Thank you!!
Thank you very much!!
Thank you so much!!
Hi Nandini
Thank you so much but when I go to those steps it doesn't show me a list of blocked numbers it just shows me how to block a number but not a list of blocked number so I can choose the one I want on block I can't get that information when I push the pound 217 I don't get the same information but thank you
Hi Dolores,
My phone model is KX-TGA470. Maybe your phone model is different and the steps may differ.
Thank you!!!
Thank you very good
tambien se puede hacer por el # de rango, a partir de cuántos dígitos? y tengo duda que significa la opción de configuración de primer timbre, encendido ó apagado, que significa?
Thank you we get so many of these the call blocker got full does that mean we have to buy a new phone?
You don't need a new phone. My phone only allows me 30 at a time so I usually go and unblock the older phone numbers as they have stop calling and add the more recent ones. Hope this helps.
Thanks so much
Thank you sooo much.
Thanks so much!
Thank you from my mom!
Thank you
I'm going nuts trying to UNBLOCK a number I accidently deleted. Hard to find out how one is supposed to accomblish this, (I have the manuel), So my model is KX-TGE432. I'm not sure the [menu] [#] [217] is correct for UN-Blocking a number. HELP!
Great video. Is there a way to block ONLY an AREA CODE and anything that comes in from that AREA CODE will be blocked? Scammers keep changing the last 7 phone digits now to avoid call block. I don't want to block everything long distance, just a specific scammer area code that is persistent. Thank you.
JW I don't think you can block the first 3 digits of a area code. It requires all the 10 digits to be blocked.
Thank You!
Thank you.
Thank You!!:) The Panasonic guide manual AND their website wasn't helpful.
Thanks
Thankyou.
Thank you. Great instructions.
How can I block a number and don't ring when they call?
thanku
Grrrr... I blocked a number by mistake and the instructions on this video didn't work. Perhaps my phone is "too old" but does anyone have advice? Has anyone had luck contacting Panasonic by phone?
my phone is Panasonic KX-TGEA40 I want to restore the number so this is not working. Any suggestions?
Hi John, try the below instructions ....I hope this works
Use the following steps:
Choose [CALL BLOCK]
Select "block a single number"
Press the up and down arrows until you see the blocked number you want to unblock
Press [ERASE]
Use the up and down arrow to select "yes"
Press [SELECT]
[OFF]
thanks
If you block the number does it prevent the number from showing on the call log or does it just not ring but still shows on call log?
Ladybug, for my phone model it rings once and gets cuts off. It shows as a blocked call on my caller ID.
Nandini S if it rings once that’s not blocking it ??
@@ladybug947 - I just tried it on my mom's Panasonic phone, similar to this one and it worked. Yes, it has to ring in order for the phone to block it. Then it disconnects the call.
Is it necessary to remove the 1 before the area code?
I haven't tested it by keeping the 1. Technically it should work else you can then take it off.
i have all ready blocked like 15 calls on my hand set
Why haven’t you been posting videos?
THANK YOU OH LORD
It blocked the person but will it still ring when they call you
It rings only ones and upon a match of the phone number in the call block list it stops.
I'm trying to unblock. But, my call block list is not showing after pressing #217. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, please reply.
I found the answer, in case this helps anyone: After pressing #217, It says "Block a single number". Press "Select", then use the arrows to scroll up and down the list. The erase button is at the bottom left of the screen.
does this work on international calls?
I haven't tried blocking int numbers but maybe if you store the same nos as it appears on the caller id it may work.
I don't have the number I want to unblock because my phone blocked it!!!! Now what?
I was trying to add a number and now everything comes in French! I would like to go back to English!
