See this podcast needs more of KG's Minnesota days...I find and others it very interesting talking about his actual "glory" days while he was in his prime dragging horrendous teams to 50 win seasons in the West was absolutely incredible...I'd love to see Sam and Spree talking about that 04 season or even Marbury coming on and saying what could of been if he stayed there in Minnesota those are the things people want to see because KG was a special player during his prime he just literally had no help.
Marbury spoke about leaving Minnesota on Carmelo’s podcast. He said he hated the weather and several near death experiences driving in Minnesota and he had enough

He was league MVP that year... Just ran into the Lakers in the WCF. That was the first good team KG really had in Minnesota.
KG was AS MVP in 2003, Shaq won the AS MVP in 2004.

I was a child and went to the wolves first game and first exibition game back in 89' against magic and the lakers. i met johnny gill that night. I broke my neck in 91' tho i still played basketball most hi made me focus on knowledge of self journey for these days and now times. MPLS was LIT when KG was There and steph it got even more LIT! i went to see steph play with the other rookie squad before he played his first game with the wolves...i took my lil brother who was a pen pal to KG for a season. Before i left Mpls i got to see KG come back to the wolves...it was Beautiful..i was happy for that. Mchale looked out yo! a REAL ONE. Kg didnt even look like he aged one bit when he came back to the tender pups of the NEW Wolves

said this before and will say it again this was THE best team KG played for. There have been a lot of players in the NBA as well as a lot of GREAT players. Out of all the great ones there are many whom have NEVER won a chip. KG before going to Boston never once complained or threw his teammates or team in Minny under the bus. All while leading them to the playoffs yr in and yr out. KG and Steph were a great combo,but you can’t forget players like Tom Gugliotta or Wally Szczerbiak who were buckets. Salute to KG as a player for really leading those early Minny teams with less talent than most but getting the most,while NEVER complaining that he didn’t have the most.
