Nice work man, the owner like you said was very lucky he caught that in time. I saw a similar situation years ago where I used to work where two silly buggers tried to dispose of very expensive (at the time) epoxy based paint they were using to re-paint a large metal lathe. They got the mixture all wrong and it wasn't going on very well and looked horrible so they got the bright idea to hide and/or get rid of the "bad batch" by pouring it down the toilet. Well as you probably know when epoxy hits water it goes rock hard and *NOTHING* will remove it. The entire basin part of the toilet was as solid as a rock so their next bright plan of action was to remove the toilet and start hammering at the epoxy with large crow bars on one of the fabrication departments steel benches. In the end they basically ended up shattering the toilet into multiple pieces and all I saw when I came into work the next day was a shattered toilet with two crow bars stuck in it on top of a steel work bench. I pissed myself laughing for the rest of the day.

These videos should educate people why you should not flush or put certain things down the drain such as wipes, pads, tampons, or building materials such as spackle, grout, & cement. Lots of cement and scale for the sidewalk but no corn for Ratty in this one.
