I don't know if Buster Scraggs would count, but it started the "First time?" meme.

Yeah I don't get how "West World" is cattle punk ether, maybe people say it is because the definition can feel pretty broad at times.

A great example of CattlePunk media the anime Trigun.

Trigun at least the old one I haven’t seen the remake is more Desertpunk as that one is about old west values in space or at the end of the world not the the actual old west. Did a whole video on it.

2000 A.D. comics are a rare treat I as well enjoy as a gritty guilty pleasure. ...Also, leaving aside fantastical steam punk aspects, I find that Cormac McCarthy's "Blood Meridian" to be, ...well at least a western punk theme. It is low life, and portrays the world as a meat grinder, debate over the characters is pretty punk.

Loveless survival and continued horniness baffel me as a student of biology.

Okay my dudes, everyone who is on this video. I absolutely MUST recommend Malifaux.
Malifaux has been my obsession since I was 13, and still going strong. It’s set on an alternate version of Earth where there is an open portal to another world in the Santa Fe desert which leads to the world of Malifaux, a dripping with magical relics and gemstones called Soulstone which gives its wielder access to incredible magical power.
A tyrannical organization called the Guild has set up shop in Malifaux, using forced convict labour to mine soulstone and ship it back to Earth by the trainloads to sell to the worlds wealthiest elites. All while fighting off the native creatures of Malifaux, Lovecraftian entities that for the most part, completely defy explanation beyond “that’s Malifaux”
Malifaux started off as a tabletop war game much like Warhammer (but with way fewer models needed) but has also branched out into its own tabletop role playing game called Through the Breach, and there’s also a podcast called “Breachside Broadcast” which has no shortage of great stories set in this world.
If you are watching this video, do yourself a favour, and look up Malifaux already. Please. Just do it
