- Octopath Traveler - Steorra, Starseer is an intimidating boss, but using Warmaster makes short work of her guard!
H'aanit is my favourite character in Octopath Traveler, and giving her the Warmaster secret job let's her reach impressive levels of physical attack damage. The versatility of this job let's the player freely choose any combination of support skills, depending on what the situation calls for. Whether it's single target damage or speedfarming, Warmaster H'aanit will crush all! - Hry
I was the same, I picked H'aanit first and she became my favorite out of the 8 as well.
I picked therion first.
I picked Cyrus first.
So it seems after everyone finishes their chapter 4, you get the highest or second highest value weapon for the respective class. These are buyable from the NPCs important to each players story. For example, Haa'nit can buy the best bow from her master after chapter 4. Ophilia gets the best staff for light damage from Liana
You can get the forbidden blade from stonegard
Same. Started with her, she's still my favorite. Awesome character...
0:25 Actually, Ha'anit is the only character who can get a secondary dog as well.
That strategy to easily kill the Archmagus (what's his name?) worked for me with this one as well. (Dancer divine skill on cleric, boosted reflective veil on everyone, boss kills him/herself)
H'aanit also makes a great Runelord from what heard.
> Hey men!, I'm about lvl 40 with my main party, They're H'ainnt | Warrior / Therion | Merch / Cyrus | Apo / Ophilia | Dancer... But watching your videos makes me wonder that I've never have combined passive skills... Which ones do you recommend?, Or which secondary job for every member of my party do you recommend me to go? :P, Since your guides only have Warmaster and I don't have it yet hehe
yep, my H'aanit has like 999 evasion and 999 pattack with all weapons (save the cane) and 500 crit, she is a beast without being at 1 HP. I love her hunter and warmaster skills.
Therion is apothecary for 30k AOE dmg with the 1hp build at first turn (1BP and 700+ speed for attacking first)
Tessa as Runelord for support (hire dancers for last bosses)
And Ophelia as sorcerer to have all spells and massive dmg .
Before recently, I didn’t think highly of H’aanit or the Hunter class; early-game bows and fighting groups of enemies make her hard to use. Her draw, like Therion, is boss fights; Leghold trap and other status ailments make some of the late/endgame bosses a lot more manageable.
Nice setup for ur H'aanit. I just got my Warmaster less than a hour ago. Thought with weapons there are some better ones out there. I have on mine:
Dragon Saber
Seraphim Spear
Legion Dagger
Ogre Cleaver- bought it Orewell and it is better than Golden Axe
Transcendent Bow of Shadows
Giant's Club
most where stolen, i started with Therion and my H'aanit is level 50 with non of the chapter 4 story parts done
You can buy forbidden weapons too or are their variants? I got forbidden blade in chapter 2 off an npc in stonegard I think but def chapter 2. OP for chapter 2.
I found a viper dagger in the Marsalim Catacombs
do you have a discord?
Leghold is great against these bosses, along with reflect~
But yea, H'aanit the Warmaster is mah girl~ :D
i made olberic intot he warmaster. since i only used 4 party members, i have been giving him majority of the permanent strength increase items. I actually have haanit into a evasion dancer for those pesky provoke battles. She has over 600 evasion with all of the gears i have. it's like someone using 6 double teams in pokemon.
Tes Reso Yeah I love using that, it helps a lot.
goldmemberpb i used her with sub dancer for most of her provoke combat, if you dont have her as warmaster, id definitely have her as dancer XD get two ppl with op evasion~
Gps1337 leghold was essential against warmaster and runemaster boss, since couldnt just reflect their abilities... im not used to these kinds of things effecting bosses but so happy it does!!
Tes Reso Yeah I kinda assume it wouldn't work against bosses too until my girlfriend tried it in her game and told about the other day. A couple days ago I got the runeblade, but it's the others that I'm having trouble with, because the Winnehild gets 6 attacks each turn, so even with leghold she gets annoying and with Steorra she renders my buffs (including some divine skills) useless, and attacks towards the end as well plus physical reflect. So I'm trying to change my strategy a little.
Your battle strategy/habit here (back then) is very, very different from what I would do...
How do you feel about putting ‘Patience’ on all your characters?
Amazing idea
What about winnehilds battle cry? Its op
Missed something. Why are you using a skill twice with Honey't?
aelfric's auspices allows skill to happen twice rather than the one time.
H’annit looks wonderful. Can I still use her well if I don’t use the summon ability? I have no luck in capturing monsters so I’m hoping to use her with base kit
She is phenomenal in late game without her summon ability. More often than not, you'll be using Warmaster skills instead of summons, although there are still some powerful beasts out there to capture. This is particularly true with area bosses ^^
Nn Li that’s amazing thank you so much for the info 😊 I’ll be sure to add her to my team and use her for late game
Suggestion: you should make h'aanit get that warrior skill that allows your max damage to be 99999. That way itll be 9999+ damage. I forgot what its called i just think itll be useful for you lol
Surpassing power right?
I tried to get warmaster but I got destroyed when Winnehild got 6 attacks each turn. I only have the runeblade I'm gonna try to get the sorcerer first.
Gps1337 put runeblade on tressa and spam transfer tune and sidestep you will stomp warmaster.
What about the battle-tested bow (bought in S'Warkii after H'aanit's chapter 4) ? It has more attack and increases critical I think
Yup! It has a chance of lowering the enemy's physical defence. This won't be the last we've seen of H'aanit the Warmster ;)
I’m still deciding if I want to purchase this game. It looks so good but I don’t know if it is worth the $60 (US)
Louis Plagianos definitely worth it. Maybe if you’re not into JRPGs
Louis Plagianos you’ll get over 60 hours of play for sure.
It’s so worth it
100% worth it
You have no idea what you are talking about.
i prefer olberic warmaster over h'aanit because he is more tougher and warrior skill isn't that great. H'aanit can be very powerful with her sub boss beast only
