Hey @davidvanvoris I just picked up a TH400 out of a 79 camera im going to rebuild for my 5.4 DOHC swap on my 96 Cobra. I was very worried about this after some said it won't be steerable at all. After seeing this it made me much more comfortable.

Awesome, video of my brother. I’m switching over to a TH 400 also. I’m going to do some real racing with my car. I got over 1000 rear wheel horsepower. What do you think the car will do on the highway. What kind of speed will I hit, and what gear do you think I would be in at 40 or 50 miles an hour to start a roll race
Definitely need to get your tuner to fix that because doesn't matter if it's cold or hot outside mine starts perfectly fine on e85

I watched the video when you installed the fuel system, and you set the pumps about the same length I did mine. I’ve ran my car all the way down to 10 miles to E trying to find an e85 station. I’m sure you did, but did you install the line that connects to the passenger side tank correctly? If not, you’re car would run out at the half tank level like it’s doing.
Yeah it’s only under wot if it’s under half closer to 1/4 it goes lean. I’ll have to check
David Van Voris I would definitely check on that because I have the same fuel system you do from lethal performance for my ‘18 and I set my pumps right at the same length as I saw yours set to awhile ago. Good luck man!

tommy lee I’d guess after everything it’s probably about 4000 lbs, thag might be a little high but with it running in the 8’s thag puts it around 1100 don’t quote me tho

How did you get Speedometer to work with th400
Th400 is badass. What read gears you have. I have th400 in my 68 mustang street strip car all motor pump gas.

How did you get the speedo working after the th400 swap? I just did the JPC system on a 2012 Coyote and I’m scratching my head on how to pick up a speed sensor signal.

Watch 2nd gear bro or get the pro mod drum 36 element. If you downshift from 3rd to 2nd and aren't accelerating, you will waste sprag. I am installing pro mod drum and 36 element sprag to bulletproof my full manual th400.
I’ve heard that but I’ve never had problems. This is a pro mod drum

How did you get the speedometer to work?
From experience they almost never wokr just because of the simplicity of the 3 speed trans...most people just use aftermarket dashboard tachs and speedometers
Now put a gear vendors overdrive on the th400 and you'll love it even more.👍
