- EA Therodos is a nation of apocalypse survivors and ghosts. The scourging of Therodos is one of the key events that set up much of what happens in the Early Era and truly set the wheel turning once again...
Turns out that being a nation of ghosts doesn't make you very popular. Let's see if Therodos are the ghosts with the most, or are doomed to be lost in the tides of history!

Me too! I didn't find the unit micro too bad in the test game either!
After a quick test, I honestly think perhaps rushing Lost Land for Therodos is really powerfull if you are the only water nation. You can really aggressively push even against the most entrenched enemies if you are the only water nation and you can tech really fast with both owl quils and the homunculi. Might not be the most meta option, but it is certainly thematic and different.
I think you also need to take into account how hard it is for the land nations in your game to come underwater. If they would really struggle, I could totally see a Lost Land/Throne rush.
Still pretty new to Dominions and excited to learn more about Pop kill nations
They are a ton of fun to play, especially in single player. In multiplayer, you basically always get rushed since you ruin the land as time goes on.
Looking forward to the Ghost stream. Also did you see? Latest update added LA Pyrène. Cambions galore.
I did load in and take a peak (and at MA since I hadn't looked hard. They both sure look like they fit right into their age and will be very strong blood nations!

They are super fun, and with how their free spawn work, not too bad to micro units around either.

Pretender. Indeed although Old man of the sea with its low extra path cost and research say W5S3D & E3 (golems or Air for the summon) chill/half undead/UC/UD's. Never played it just a thought.
Could be fun, but man giving up on the possibility of summoning Telkhines at W5A3 would be hard for me.

Revenant is a cheap way to get a D1 mage for 9D, a cost effective site searcher especially with a skull staff
Problem with Revenant is you CANT cast it UW

Yes, D2 to summon in the revenant. I wish it was able to be summoned underwater, as I would b-line it. Going up enchant also opens up skeleton spam, which I actually don't like on this nation.

I do like Theodore as a concept. I just wish it was better than it is as a package. But being UW means its would be way too OP if it was buffed.
I have not done it yet, but just having Lost Land as a possibility helps.
A unique D1 summon at Conj0 or Ench0 that could be summoned UW would also help a ton.
Is AP buff magical weapons? Or is it just an astral exclusive?
If something is magical, it should be labelled as such. So something like: "...add AP and magical...." Alternatively, it might call for a MR check.

On an unrelated note, LA pyrene looks slick. Kinda wish they had a Cambion or true demon pretender chassis, but it does give me a reason to run Baphomet.

A really cool nation, but I feel most if not all of the pop kill nations struggle because of the low income.
Nature of the beast I am afraid. Generally, they want to try and shift over to a gem economy before they run out of gold.
@@BabelBuilder I just think other nations do that just as well without losing the gold side. So they fall behind by quite a lot. Especially on research.
Yeah. I suppose the "advantage" is you become hard to attack into and siege once there are no supplies to be had. Meanwhile, you fill your forts with things that don't need to eat.
