What Kristian is doing here with the people at and around Collider is so important. Giving us the fans a chance to get to know them. Here that aspect of the show is so clear.. Clarke never clicked with me..Never got why but she never did..But after listening to this and getting to know her I finally got it. With all of that said - Clarke has a new fan! :)
Ok, this is actually a compliment: originally I didn’t think I would appreciate the interview, for I was aware of Clarke’s presence but didn’t know if I could invest in hour interview. BUT, EXCELLENT INTERVIEW. Clarke: very insightful and Kristian, great flow and interaction. I’ve face challenges with crippling depression even procrastinating to point of almost losing my life - for what it’s worth, I commend you on recognizing the need for help. REALLY GOOD INTERVIEW!!
I met Clarke briefly at Fantastic Fest in 2015 and she was nice and extremely down-to-earth. She gave me some great advice that I still hold true today. She is the definition of classy.
sharpley75 haha! I really like him, but I don’t like him alone, he needs interaction. I still watch segments of the Campea Show here and there by nothing else. Plus I know the guy is making a living but what’s up with the show where you pretty much pay to ask him a question. Weird
Also, Clarke's experience with depression is exactly like mine. Can relate completely... the wanting, and living in the future. "Time" etc, 100% Clarke. Love to you Clarke!
this is what i love about Clarke Wolfe, she is so hot yet she doesn't carry herself that way like most women. shes so modest about it. she shines with her honesty and intelligence, my kind of women XD
Super proud of you Clarke for getting where you have, I love your for your raw & more than anything sincere honesty. I’m super respectful of how you you’ve come through what you been through. As a fellow person who’s been through depression, you brought me great strength. Kristian, you are NOT a failure. You are superb in your vibrant content. You are one of the most recognisable you tubers for not only your realness but your genuine personality. Always stay strong!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good for you Clarke. I can totally relate to the depression story. I resisted taken medication at first, but it's the best thing I did for myself. I had people say, why take medication, just pray to God and go to Church. Well guess what? I did pray and God told me to get medication. It's like the story of the guy on top of his roof during a flood waiting for God to rescue him. I didn't wait to drown and neither should anyone else.
Well that story about AMC kind of makes sense now. John hired two hot girls earlier in the year to help out with his show but they didn’t know what they were talking about. He probably hired them just because they were hot.
Can't wait for Part 2! Great Interview man! Gotta say I love the Interviews with the crew more than the actual movie starts and other guests. Not that you don't do a good job or that they aren't entertaining, I feel like your a little more laid back and I love the honesty with the more personal ones.
JC was asked to the Collider tribute for Schnepp after his passing but chose no to attend. but it was his BS reason for not going!(JC made it all about him and not about celebrating Schnepp) in a nutshell. Then he resurrected his HEROES show with Robert Myer Burnett before Schnepp was in the ground nor did he feel he needed to consult with Holly(Schnepps Fiance)..and thats just the start of JC atrocious behavior.
Listen, I don't have a problem with people not liking John Campea, that's your right, but a lot of this information you just shared is not how any of that stuff went down. I would highly recommend researching what actually happened between all parties correctly before slinging around incorrect information.
These shows are so impressive. The candidness, especially regarding self-images, depression and relationships (with oneself and others), and authenticity (from both host and guest!) is wonderful. And helpful for many of us that watch, I believe. Great job Kristian and Clarke was a superb guest (looking forward to a part 2). Giving Norm MacDonald a run for his money 🙌🏻👌🏻 Would you dare bring in Michael Rapaport as a guest? Or would that show never end? Peace!
"Looking at where you are now--how can I move the ball forward?" is really good advice for someone with depression. Great interview! Love Clarke, The Shirewolves, and the Fyffe Club!!!
Clarke's openness and being straight foward about who she is, is awesome. She's empowering to everyone. Kristian great job. Can't wait to watch part 2 and part 3!
Loving these interviews Kristian. I remember Clarke Wolfe as far back as the AMC days, but never realized she was there just to be a host. I thought I always remembered her giving her opinion. But I guess watching Movie Talk since 2013 can get a bit fuzzy by this point in time for me. Either way, I remember when Clarke was missing from Movie Talk sometime after the Man Of Steel review, it did get people wondering what happened since a lot of us valued her opinion, wether we agreed with it or not.
Man Kristian you just can't compare yourself to other people. You are doing amazing things, you have done amazing things. Don't beat yourself up my man.
I love the 1 on 1 with Kristian and the collider crew... I rarely have the same opinion about movies with most of the collider crew BUT I love every person for sticking to their opinions even if they are not popular. And the Shirewolves are my favorite in the Schmoedown. Great Job Kristian.
I think its important to note that John Campea wasn't present during this interview to defend himself. It's okay to listen and sympathize with Clarkes story. But its also okay to understand that there are always two sides to every story. In short. Don't be quick to judge. This was an excellent interview. Clarke is indeed classy and an interesting person.
Amen, she seems to come across as having a persecution complex, she keeps making an appeal to people having to give her ,her shot, make your own shot, make your own blog, make your own film, make your own podcast, not everyone has to see your potential, guys like Ellis, harloff and campea understand this
Yeah, Campea already said she was lying and leaving out info to make it sound one-sided plus like Kristin said he had never seen John act or do anything like that & she later came back to work for him so something doesn't add up.
I cant believe I enjoyed watching Campea at one stage. As soon as AMC changed to Collider though, I developed a bad vibe when I was watching him. And then when the ladies stopped hosting after Campea left, I thought that was suspect. Then I tried watching his show and.....just......ew no.
I don't think them leaving had anything to do with Campea. Collider was clearly making A LOT of production and crew changes and didn't feel the need to have female host anymore and essentially promoted Mark Ellis to present and comment.
As much as I enjoyed Ashley, Sinead and Natasha as hosts (both for their looks and their personalities...seriously, they really grew on me and I viewed them as key members of the crew), it's obvious John was only hiring women based on their looks.
Agreed, none of them should have been hired. They seemed like they worked to try to get more into movies but they were unquestionably hired as the equivalent of "booth babes".
Totally agree with everything Clarke has discussed about depression. It really helps when people share their experiences with this illness. It makes one not feel so alone out there.
Great interview, Clarke is very intelligent. classy and of course stunning , naturally beautiful. I've always emphasised with her after the Man of Steel backlash as she merely stated her opinion of which i mostly agreed with. @@keefriff99 Agree 100%. He constantly brought up his past sexual conquests (no need on a movie show) and made creepy comments about women on the film commentaries. So glad he is gone from Collider.

I don't get that hate for Campea here. Clarke specifically said that he encouraged her to share her opinions, even though that wasn't the job she was hired to do. She was fired because she refused to do what the boss asked of her, which was something he was asking ALL the employees to do at the time. I don't know what jobs you've worked at, but if I refused to do something that was company policy & the boss specifically asked me to do it, then I would be fired too. Kristian also backs John up, saying that he had never had nor witnessed any experiences that would give him a negative opinion of John. So, what is the problem here?
So, Clarke has admitted her battles with depression over the years. Also bringing up how poorly she has treated people. And now we are simply going to buy that Clarke handled the situation "classy" while John was the asshole? There is more evidence to the contrary here. But you keep white knighting the pretty lady...
His behaviour was unreasonable. She was not scheduled to work that day so no it's not 'company policy'. You don't tell people to drop plans and commitments they've made to other people for you at the last second.

I must say...I did always notice that John liked a particular kind of looking host for the show....a couple who didn't really know what they were doing
