I've picked out 16 of your songs to go into a psych compilation I've been putting together for 25 years. If I can ever finish it, it'll be at least 152 full CD's long!
I just saw a video a few months ago of the band doing a recent concert. Are you still with them or was that just Peter with a new backing band? I couldn't believe they actually did, "Music" live! It closed out the gig!!
I sure miss my drums and especially playing on stage!!

Excellent selection. I might agree with this list more than any other I've seen! Wow! I have a question since you have an original Gandalf...... Two minutes into the track "You Upset the Grace of Living", there is, what sounds like, tape flaws and quick channel dropouts on the digital and cd masters. ( I don't think it's a psychedelic effect). I was wondering if it was like that on the original vinyl or those flaws were from later masters only. btw, Kaleidoscope is everything! Weird how that album turned out to be the thumbnail on my latest video too, but I have merely the cd.

There's probably several I find overrated, but I can't think of too many at the moment. One that came to mind is Odessey And Oracle. Not very psych, but as a pop album I find it about average. S.F. Sorrow is another I've never been crazy about. Any Small Faces record. They're not really psych, but The Velvet Underground have been hyped so much. They may have influenced a ton of groups, but not the best musicianship or artistic moves to my ears.

great subject people forget how important psyc music was in later sixties ```and what was psychedelic was it fuzz tones ,weird lyrics, a moog , what makes a psychedelic sound i thinkzappas freakout was psyc, along with crazy world of arthur brown , syd barretts solo stuff, its kind of subjective because thir could be made a case for Beatles strawberry fields as well as donovans mellow yellow period. it all took place in a time mid sixties to early seventies for the most part,at its peak . i could name a lot more bands but as i said it is subjective ,but its a music form ive always loved . nice topic tho thanks. give us more.
