I actually have the nightmare models used in the game, they're Called ReWritten nightmares and they're made by springreg as part of their AU. the models are public and can be found on DeviantArt to be used on the three main animation softwares (SFM, Blender, and C4D)

The animatronic designs, with the bodies inside, reminds me of the old theory 8-Ryan had when reviewing the FNAF 4 teasers. He thought that they could be springlock suits because of the bolts in their jaws

I guess this fan game interpreted the Nightmare animatronics as Spring-Lock suits? (Which is something I've always thought)
Makes sense. If it were the normal fnaf 4, crying child would have seen the worker putting on the springlock suit while he was trying to leave the pizzeria, so he’d definitely have nightmares about that.

It's giving "Five Nights at Freddy's 4", "Boogeyman", and "The Joy of Creation" (the OG one where you just survive AND the Reborn: Story Mode). Very interesting, I like the vibes. And the designs are crazy terrifying.

ALSO, Dawko, the game you're thinking of is Boogeyman, not Nightmare on Elmstreet.
Boogeyman has the flashlight, tape player and has you checking closets, windows and under the bed.
The corpses inside nightmares might be a reference to bullies in masks, or people in suits in Fredbear's
This is legitimately one of the best fan games. It captures the original fnaf4 SO well while still feeling original
I love the FNAF 4 fan game and the Nightmares animatronics are so tarring amazing 20/20
