  • Fixing up this Kubota diesel T1600 lawn mower that I recently got. I also test it out and perform a quick service on it.

    kubotas makes there products reliable and so easy work on and parts are pretty cheap at the dealer wich is nice

    It's the new lube they use at kubota to prevent the gearbox from leaking. Very thick for sure.

    Where would a guy find a battery to replace the old one? Kubota discontinued and I can't find one. Closest I found was Interstate, but it's like almost 1/2 the amps. It's a good little mower. Been very reliable all these years. I still have the hubcaps, even.

      Supposedly, you can use a battery from a Honda Fit. They have nearly the same measurements. Part # SLI151R it's not cheap.

    How do you bleed air after the engine has run out of fuel?

      Open the lines at the injectors and crank the engine. Be careful - high pressure fuel spray can cause serious injury
