- In this video, we'll complete a tour of a Gringo Favorite Town located in Rivas, Perez Zeledon, Costa Rica.
We'll show you the entire route on the Rivas Map and then actually show you what business and other things are available in Rivas Costa Rica.
After touring Rivas Costa Rica, we'll follow the road up the mountain to the next town called San Gerardo de Rivas Costa Rica. We'll see what is available there and then go on up through a tiny community called Chimirol de Rivas Costa Rica.
Then we'll finish our tour by looking around the tiny community of Canaan de Rivas Costa Rica.
There are a lot of things to do around Rivas Costa Rica and if you are going to tour Costa Rica, you don't want this place to be on your trip to Costa Rica.

Living in Costa Rica & Facts about Costa Rica We are moving there in January . Looking for information on different areas . We were interested in the Nicoya Peninsula. We don’t want to live anywhere too touristy or city . We love peaceful mountain living with beautiful views , a bit cooler in climate, safety , comfort , convenience and inexpensive ..is that too much to ask hahaa. Any recommendations for areas ?

Also...from what you've told me, you REALLY need to watch the video that will be live tomorrow evening. I don't want to talk you into a different place, but from what you are saying, tomorrow, we discuss the place you are looking for.
Where on Nicoya are you planning or hoping to settle? We've lived there twice and it's NICE, but NOT CONVENIENT....sorry. And, living on the mountain poses a problem for internet. However, there are a couple of independent providers, but they are expensive for only a little bit of internet.
However, it's NOT too much to ask...Lol, we've found some really great places to live and with the right amount of research, I'm sure you will find the perfect place to. Keep your eyes on our channel, we'll be talking about our 5 favorite areas over the next few weeks...I think you'll find it interesting.

@@OffTheGridHomesteadCostaRica I'm no in Costa Rica right now. I have a Sister live in Buena Vista, Me Brother in Drake and me Younger Sister in San Luis. I will go back soon and I going to start a Animal Sanctuary Project in a piece of land we have in El Ceibo.

The area looks great!, Are there any cool places to rent up there? How isolated is it really it looks pretty isolated. We will be moving down and wont be buying a property and want to be in an area where we can meet new friends, expats, and locals in a community setting which is the feeling we get from watching the Samara videos. I love the weather you describe in Perez Zeledon, Is there an area n PZ you can recommend with modern ish housing that would likely have a view in a not too remote area? Do you recommend San Isidro vicinity and is that in PZ also like the idea of being half way to the beach. ( we're mountain people too!)

I love this area. How far is it to the shopping center where you showed the trip to shopping and the Walmart where you shop. I liked that it was less than a half hour away. Is it the same distance from Rivas?
Yes....we are still just above Rivas... and when we go to Walmart, it is 20 to 30 minutes. Makes it nice to get what you need but NOT live in the city.
Can you farm here?
Great place to farm all over Perez Zeledon and MOST of Costa Rica
