I'm a knife collector over 30 years mostly tactical and I've really enjoyed watching your channel and I've appreciated the vintage knives and interesting items you find and the restoration of history. Yes it is a very addictive and expensive hobby! Sometimes I realize the knives I'm carrying have more value than anything else I have on me, or in my bank account. Is it me or do most knife guys like seafood? Thanks guys and Happy 4th of July from St.Louis!

To compare a bunch of old camillus lockbacks to the buck 110.
As much as I’ve been around the Camillus guys, the blade forums I have never heard this about the possibility of some 110’s being made by Camillus. And some 110 sisters produced with the Camila stamp.. I do know I have some variations.. I just never really wondered about it.
But I knew there were a lot case and buck knives made by Camillus .. is fascinating learning about all that when the factory closed and they had the auction.. Pretty amazing all the actual different tang stamps from different companies , and unfinished knives or parts and knives.. that were found there and sold at the auction… lots of secrets- that came to light. Only insiders knew about all this contract work.

I have one of those Kershaw knives with the finger guard it was a Christmas gift from m wife and son and would of been in late 70's or early 80's and yes it came with a sheath which I still have, I do have a Blackjack knife but a fixed blade its a dandy

I have a friend that was the wife of one of my exhubs airforce comrades that now lives in Cordele GA! I was just up there 2 weeks ago. Drove up in the morning had lunch with her and drove home. Cute little Itty bitty GA town (Itty bitty compared to Jacksonville lol). How w was that restaurant??? If good next time I go up and see her we will go there!

Wades son was wrong about the Medford pocket clip that style of pocket clip was the original pocket clip for the Praetorian ..the real clip has the knife facing the opposite direction compared to the knockoff.

Speaking of that did they ever make that Gerber Mini Covert in USA? The little brother to Eric’s Combat folder. All nice knives today can’t wait for part 2.
Found a USA fixed blade mamba at a gun show 🤔15 - 20 years a go … didn’t know about the co… but loved the knife.. funny I never used it . SHARP !

The modern folder never appealed to me. They just seem unpractical and very expensive. I will always be a traditional slipjoint, traditional lockback type of guy. Great group of guys and great video.

I have multiple knock offs and I bought them knowing it was a knock off and just like it was said for personal collection. I use a knockoff otf at work. I keep a Spyderco matriarch 2 in my other pocket 😉

These knives are nice. But let’s remember the common man can’t afford any of them. Like I said very nice but the price is very scary and out of reach for many people.
Very true…Matt was just showing off some of his High Power Knives. Did you see the one I got for $2 and $8.50? What about the one I got for $45? Or maybe the one I got for $5? Did you see any of those? Or maybe the Alaska Knives for $85? Some people like those high powered knives. All of these are in part 2. We’re all collectors of different knives. We all have different tastes and that’s what makes it so special. Thanks for watching!!
