- In this tutorial, I will show you how to package a city sample destructible vehicle project in Unreal Engine 5.3. You will learn how to update the project from version 5.0 to 5.3, use the new skeletal mesh asset, fix the "UnrealEd" error, address the custom anim graph error, and successfully package your project with fully functioning deformation. Please note that this tutorial continues from the destructible vehicle tutorial series. The finished working project file is available on my Patreon.

OMG you've done it!!! I think you are the only person on internet who made the destruction system work in a packaged app! What is the next step? I think a tutorial to bring the destruction system into a new project , like the default chaos vehicle template would be the next logical step and it would help a lot of people to start using this. I imaggine it's not a straightforward task to bring only the neccessary stuff into a new project.

@@jourverse Sorry, I was just watching your other videos. Indeed you have shown how to make the same assets work in a new project. What I meant is how to use the destruction system in a new project with new assets. ( new car model with maybe different skeleton, how to setup control rig etc). For example what steps are needed to make this work with the default chaos vehicle template. (different car model, different skeleton instead of using the same assets that came from CitySample).

@@jourverse That should help anyone make it work in their games/projects without needing to use the specific car models /skeleton from City Sample. We would just migrate the blueprints /code for the destruction system itself.
If you have time, please show me how to fix the camera of the transport, because when you turn the car over, it goes into the ground.
Nice video. Can you tell me how do i place different items at an offset and rotation in hand so that they place correctly. I have a demonstration of the system in my account but instead of the cube i want to place different items.
We need to have many animations to grab the item at different offsets. For the hand, you need a hand animation that adjusts to the object you want to pick and plays that specific animation.
i have same weird problem happening in my project when ever i enter in car car was spining flying and doing weird thing i can’t drive
