    I really appreciate your video. I splurged on some bundles and got home and felt like I got duped. I found other videos and it made me on the fence on whether it was real still or not and then I found your video and the burn test reminded me of a stylist telling me of this trick years ago that I had forgotten and I have legit hair. I am so happy. Thanks girl!!

    If you only knew how grateful I am to have crossed your channel . I have spent probably in the last month and a half close to $150 in extensions , Some because of your video I can tell they charged me for real hair and it wasn’t. My hair is falling out because of treatment in because of Crohn’s I guess it’s one of the side effects when you have severe Crohn’s so I’m only 43 and I have two daughters one is 15 and one is 11 and I remember a time when their friends used to say your mom has such pretty hair. Now I don’t leave the house without a hat I’m hoping if I continue to ( sorry doing talk text if misspelled ) Continue to watch your videos I might be able to do some thing with all of these pieces if not is there anything you can recommend that it’s not super expensive obviously I don’t have a very big income and I had saved for five or six months to be able to get those and it breaks my heart because they’re ruined not just from me wearing them but for the fact that they were horribly put together to begin with. I would be grateful for any advice and I’m so so glad I came across your channel

      It depends on what you have currently (as your natural hair) and what you want your hair to look like ideally.
      Sometimes it can be expensive up front, but as you have experienced, if you get hair that doesn't hold up, it's more expensive in the long run and way more frustrating. You can message me at sales@doctoredlocks.com to send images - then we can see what might work best. :)

    Is the end color test the same when testing dark colored unprocessed virgin Indian hair wefts?

    • @doctoredlocks
      @doctoredlocks  Před 3 lety

      Yes, if it is truly virgin, it should be slightly lighter.

    I have a question and I know I'm really late to the party lol
    Can you make a video making SE and DE synthetic dreadlocks from pre ombred kanekelon hair??

    • @doctoredlocks
      @doctoredlocks  Před 5 lety

      I can definitely add it to the request list! You will just need to follow the same process you would with any ombre creation :)

    But what if it is blended. I recently got beaded extensions and I notice some strands of a shine that looks fake to me

    • @doctoredlocks
      @doctoredlocks  Před 3 lety

      You should be able to do the burn test on the ones that look fake to you to see if they are in fact synthetic or not. Human hair has a distinctive sulfur smell.

    Hi There, what does Virgin actually mean? That the hair hasnt been processed at all from the donor?

    • @doctoredlocks
      @doctoredlocks  Před 8 měsíci

      Truly virgin hair has never been color treated or chemically processed.

    Why would they remove the hairs cuticle?

    • @doctoredlocks
      @doctoredlocks  Před 5 lety +7

      In cases where hair is not sourced from ponytails or if hair has "fallen", the cuticle has to be removed because they may not all be going in the same direction. If the cuticle is not going in the same direction, severe tangling will occur.
