I think Sherb has an unhealthy obsession with Amanda, and he's causing problems so Amanda gives him attention (even if its negative), he poisoned Marina because he sees how much Amanda treasures her (so Sherb is trying to take out Marina). Sherb is a yandere trying to take out every villager one by one until its only him and Amanda. He's probably gonna go after Lily, Pompom, and Pierce, leaving himself, Goose, and Kyle to be the last three. Goose is also probably in on it to get revenge on Amanda and Kyle. Thats my take on it anyway.
