Its funny but it makes you think more deeply about the actual song Rude, as it is sung from the point of view from the guy. In his and the daughter's point of view he is a jerk standing in the way of true love. However, here he isn't an unreasonable jerk, he is just a loving father, who wants the best for his daughter, and sees the signer from Rude as being no good for his daughter, with him wanting his daughter to marry a man, who has his act together, rather than some almost-thirty year old fast food worker, who likely still lives with his mother.
