I’m upset that no one told me it would be this easy to make. I’ve been going all my adult life buying this in restaurants cuz I didn’t know it was this easy.
Sameeeeeee
Every porridge is easy to make. Banana, plantain, peanut etc all simple once you learn right amt of water to add.
Thanks for this great recipe. I tried it and the result was great. Mi like how yu "talk nice".

This looks so gud! Anybody else love how she say “tups” ?🤣🤣🤣

@@whitneyskitchenjamaica My Pappy (Grandpa) would have a coffee every day with 2 tbsp and a tups of sugar...the tups was the biggest of all the tablespoons...lol. Miss you Pappy--RIP.
My mom used to sell that every Saturday back in Panama…. 40 years later and I still don’t know how to make it. Bring back memories. I’m going to try to make it one day easy recipe
I have a Panamanian friend back in NYC whose mom would make this for us! Till this day I’ve NEVER tasted a better hominy corn than Miss P’s!

That look so yummy 🇯🇲 I have not had that for over 50 years, I am going to see if I can find the corn to try and make it❤️
I made it with canned Hominy corn from Kroger--was awesome...just had to soak and remove the sodium and not add any sodium to the porridge.
Nice recipe. 🌹BUT I grated my corn. About 6. They were very young corn .
Taste good.😀❤❤

What brand corn were you using? I used grace and the corn was very chewy and I boiled it for 2hrs because the time stated wasn’t enough time

We boil our corn for hours prior to doung that to make sure it cooks properly.
We add condensed milk and powdered milk not coconut milk.
Interesting another way to make it.
🇦🇴
How long does it take if you dont have a pressure cooker?
when you say pressure the corn. do you mean just boil it in water? i just want to make sure before i try this
Put it in a pressure cooker
What if I don’t have a pressure cooker? Can I use a regular pot?
I hope you watched other videos and was able to get the answer. If not, you can soak the corn in water overnight and then boil it in a regular pot. Or just buy canned hominy corn.
U sound like shenseesa
No lie it looks good but I don't like evaporated milk I prefer the condensed milk.
I always fail at this. I give up on making this thing. Kmt.
Try again
Is there a way to cook it without pressuring the corn?
Yes, slow cook the corn. Low flame and manage the amount of liquid in the pot.
😤
Try to change traditions for better..no need to put sugar when pressuring it.
