Made a spring assisted ripcord charger for my phone using similar materials. Mush easier to use than a crank, smaller, and more structurally sound since i don't have to deal with a handle sticking out somewhere odd.
I like the ingenuity. I am myself annoyed by the controls in many games, and both of the controller hacks are easily doable and will do well for their price. I'm a little bummed by number three though, because it's not immediatly apparent what you use or where to get them. The consept however is good, and can be expanded upon to provide energy for your phone in an emergency.

On #3, tie a string to the rod. Tie a fishing weight onto the string. Then simply spin the weight in the air. MUCH better than trying to crank on that horrible wheel/rod combo by hand.
