Boss rematches are a cool idea that was executed poorly. Hopefully, they will listen to the players and make it more worth fighting them. Kinda like the Rattlebones, Krokopatra, Meowiarty, and Zeus challenges with mounts or armor in addition to the spellements.
It's on purpose. The point is to make you desperate enough to spend money on their packs for spellamanets. Just how they reduced the skeleton key drop rates.

My only other problem, and this is more of a sorta pet peeve, is that the arenas of the rematch are boring. They should be the arena where we fought the bosses themselves, not random rooms or towers. Nightshade I'll give a pass for since his fight is just in a tower.
I heard that they were originally going to have the Malistare rematch in a room identical to his fight in Darkmoor, but changed it to a generic Dragonspyre interior at the last minute. That might have something to do with the glitches.
These battles are way too hard and time consuming for just dropping 8-10 random spellements and a random reagent. Either they have to make them easier or increase the drops highly
@@xxzombiekillerxx9549 it makes zero sense that it much more time efficient and easier to just hop on a lvl 30 40 ish and farm sea lord or otherwise and easily get 8 spellements, PERMANENTLY. A big issue with these is that they are are one shots, they should be permanent fights
I stopped playing when Gamigo bought them. Gamigo will "update" the games and try to get as much money out of them with as little work. And once people catch on they'll leave it to die slowly
cam said yesterday on ferricord that they would be adding new, high level gear to these and that spellements were not the only intended drops. not sure why they released them unfinished, but hopefully the gear isn't trash.

These just look unfinished, to such a degree that I don't think they were _intended_ to go public yet. 1) They were not announced anywhere in the game bulletin, to my knowledge. 2) Meowiarty's stock lemur warriors look like placeholders. 3) As meisrcool mentioned below, their gear drops are not actually implemented. 4) There's visual bugs in the Malistaire arena. 5) A couple Jade Oni cheats had strange or erratic procs.

I been wanting a harder rematch for the arc 2 final bosses for a while but then I remembered Celestia’s final boss and how frustrating she was back in 2010
I think it makes sense that mal is duel type fire and dark meaning death because this mal is like the enchanted mal on CZcams I saw years ago well done
Realistically, due to the quotes he spawns, it seems to me that Malistare isn't showing any more malice than Meowiarity was calling on the Koolakamba to aid him.

It’s like they made skeleton keys that are only used for a few things, then they made like 4 one shots, and now this, why don’t they just like stick to one or two of these systems and improve upon them instead of making a million poorly executed barely expanded upon ones

That happens when something is colliding eith something else the battle circle is in the ground not on the ground and the view if the fight is what makes it think ok what's supposed to be on top the ground or the circle

Boss Buffs -Limits their own damage so that a level 10 ice wizard can survive 2 turns vs a rank 20 boss while being attacked -Increased hp amount to avalon tier. SICK UPDATE!!!
This is so stupid. Kingsisle why the hell did you not allow these rematch bosses to have 28-30 spellement drops per run? Kingsisle you made these boss rematch fights have less drops than the fights in the first arc while the boss rematches are much more difficult.
It's a lame idea by KI defeats what these bosses are using cheats and spells they never had.I don't see the problem with just keeping the bosses the same who cares if players come back at high level it is not like an upgraded snake or lightning bat is ever going to be used by a max level player.Personally I despise the idea of cheats because what those often do is remove the ability for you to play your character as intended or to utilize cards you spent thousands of hours earning it is just a lazy approach by KI.
Malistare’s rematch was a missed opportunity to bring back the og 1 million health fight.

You get more spellements by using elemental/spiritual retriever than rematching bosses, for the time you spend
Yea 8 spellements of random schools is terrible
you get more spellements from making a new wizard and getting carried than any of these combined XD

It's supposed to be harder because at the end of the game you can absolutely 2-round most late game bosses.

Nightshade triple shields -100% if you change bubble, was he nerfed
Before nightshade can use his cheat for bubble change you hold priority to use your hit, same method works on fellspawn
