- A long time coming, but the first John Wayne video has come. Today we will learn how to tie the “John Wayne” neckerchief knot.
One can actually see him tie this knot in the movie “Stagecoach” that came out in 1939.
P.S.
The photo behind is of Bent’s Old Fort in La Junta, Colorado.

Howdy, Rooster! And welcome to this one-horse, two-saloon, three-gaol town. Cheers!
You one humble dude!
You could do a whole series on what John Wayne got right and got wrong in terms of history.
That’s a great idea! I shall look into that! And I’m still working on getting spurs to make that video happen!
@@SaintAndrewTV Cool
Hey Santee i love your videos i watch them everyday and before i go o bed
@@gregoriopadilla850 Awesome, thanks!
Howdy Rooster, welcome to your forever home, buddy!!
Great video and Howdy Rooster!
Thank you!
Howdy Rooster, little buddy.
a grate video i love it andrew
Thank you ever so kindly!
I have loved big silk neckerchiefs like the one you are wearing since I was a lad and watched Roy Rogers with his colorful, flowing silk scarves. The Duke was fantastic wearing his silk neckerchiefs like the one you are wearing.
Aren’t they great, Edward? Thanks for stopping by and watching, friend!
Fun video! 😀The background looks like a historical fort of some kind but reminds me of a Fort in Red Dead Redemption One.
That’s a good eye! That’s Bent’s Old Fort in La Junta, Colorado on the Santa Fe Trail. That’s what they modeled Fort Mercer after in the Red Dead Redemption series!
@@SaintAndrewTV Ah...makes sense, it's a dead ringer. I was killed so many time there.😀
@@TUCOtheratt haha! As was I, friend. As was I!
HOWDY ROOSTER !!! :)
Hello Rooster, don't get the sun in your eyes, that is to say your eye. Great video as always Andrew. My father died recently and I've coped partly by going back and watching some more of your videos. I've learned a lot thanks to you.
Great line! And sorry to hear about your father. My best wishes, friend. It’s not an easy thing. ❤️
Hello Rooster!
Hello Rooster 👍
Yo Rooster!
Howdy Rooster

Welcome rooster!

The neckerchief would initially be tied around the nose and mouth, like a mask. Use as a dust mask was a primary function of the neckerchief. When pulled off the face, it would hang somewhat loosely around the neck, but could be pulled up across the face with one hand.
That is a good idea!
Hello Rooster
Hi Rooster.
Bandanna
Hi rooster
Have you thought on doing Arthur Morgans tie knot?
No I haven’t, but now that I’ve seen this… we shall see what’s in store for the future…! Thanks for watching!
@@SaintAndrewTV I had a hard time with the John Wayne one but I kinda have the idea of Arthur Morgans look cause of it being a round ball look it’s easy
@@Texo_McKevo it shouldn’t be too tough! I will see if I can crack the code.
@@SaintAndrewTV my best step is how I’m gonna try explaining.
Again a silk handkerchief in 34x34 or 44x44 is best doing it.
1:Have it in a triangle.
2:Adjust the two ends even.
3: put one over one to make a tie
4: do a dress tie but double the other for no adjustment
5: if in a round look like Arthur’s black neckerchief your good to go.
If the round loook isn’t done right in a round ball do keep trying the attempt.
@@Texo_McKevo alright! Well look out for it in the near future
