i will take this cruise on jan/24. as far as i know, the cruise won't land on the antarctic. only a small expedition ship with 200 passengers can land with a zodiac. hope this helps. love from canada.

@@jeantognaccini3388 we live in Richmond VA now but lived in Fremont for 15 yrs. (1993/94 to 2008/2009).
This was our first cruise in a long time & definitely the longest but we enjoyed it so much. So many we spoke to referred to it as one of the best, if not the best, they’d experienced…And weren’t the Antarctic team terrific?!? We thought their talks added so much color to everything we saw. It’s always so enjoyable to hear someone that so obviously loves what they do, just talk about what they do 😁
@@marygarvin19 wow, you were ex- Californian too? 🤩. We too will be moving out of California soon. We just bought another house in Southwest Reno, Nevada. We are slowly transitioning. My husband still works, so we are keeping our house in California for now. Yes, overall we enjoyed the cruise. This was our longest too, and it surprisingly went by fast . We too enjoyed having the Antarctica experts onboard. We attended pretty much all of their talks. We definitely learned a lot about the glaciers and the fauna in Antarctica. Maybe we'll see each other again on another future cruise. Take care. Which one is your husband from the video?
How was the drake passage?
I am booked on this cruise with Oceania Marina for the same time in 2024. How cold was it? How should we dress?
Ski pants and ski jackets are good to have. Enjoy!
