The Dewalt DCD796 is an 18v cordless, brushless drill/driver that is compact and lightweight. This drill is very powerful for the size and can do a huge amount of drilling from one 5AH battery. This drill has a two speed gearbox which enables the drill to go from 0-550 RPM in first gear and 0-2,000 RPM in second gear. In first gear the drill has 70NM of torque and in second gear the drill has 27NM of torque. The DCD796 also has a quality all metal chuck with a capacity of 13mm. The drilling capacity of the drill is- Capacity: Steel: 13mm, Masonry: 13mm, Wood: 40mm.
