I watched this movie when I was a kid and I had nightmares for weeks! I Started to be scared of everyone I passed by.
I only watched it once, but I still remember the effect it had on me till this day
Thats me with Jeepers Creepers. I still, 20 years later wince when i hear the song.

I’ve been looking for this movie for years and all I could remember was the gas station and Mountain Dew. You have no idea how hard this was to find.

Oooohkaaaay...here's my take...at EVERY scene where Nichole Kidman has a gun to defend herself, she shoots the bad guy then she TOSSES THE GUN! WHO DOES THAT!!! The scene towards the end where her son wakes up in store, finds his mom, friend NOW turned ALIEN comes in, she gets the gun, shoots em in the LEG...THEN TOSSES THE GUN! I was waiting for her son to say MOM...REALLY! It didn't make since.
Saw it not too long ago, good movie, love Kidman. She makes everthing so dramatic. great actress.

It’s been remade several times, there’s the first remake in 1978, then the 1993 remake Body Snatchers and finally The Invasion. And there’s another remake in the works.

@@Rctdcttecededtef it's based around Nicole Kidman's character and her son through the movie , but it has some nice twists , it's a modern take on the body snatchers. With a bit of Andromeda strain thrown in . It's fantastic the way they create the paranoia . It's a classic little gem of a movie . And one with a entirely different ending from previous body snatcher movies . Definitely worth a watch .

Great movie. I love how each version of the Invasion of the Body Snatchers has a guest star from a previous version. Really, would it be so bad? The world changed to peace everywhere with the aliens versions, and then it was back to normal with violence, killing, rapes and cruelty, did we really 'win' or lose? Interesting debate.
A worthy question, but the answer is another story: The Romans make a desert and call it peace. If one doesn't mind total thought and body control tyranny over all of humanity--freedom and creativity and love destroyed--then this kind of peace might be worthwhile.

The original 70s Body Snatchers was better. This is Nicole's 2nd try at this movie and it sucks.
