This bike does something better than any other bike that I know of that this point. I’m not kidding around. It is a bike that can be ridden by the first time rider, and it can also put a smile on the face of an advanced rider for years to come. Having a bike that can make both of those types of riders happy is an extremely difficult tight rope to walk, but I think Beta has done it here with the 200RR. This is now on my list of bikes to look at for the first time rider, and 10 years into my riding career, I have loved each ride on the bike as well. I also know of more advanced riders than me that are really enjoying their 200RR. That is very cool!
I will mention one significant complaint and a few other smaller gripes about this dirt bike, but the rest is high praise. The motor is not counter balanced, but you don’t notice the vibration very much when riding the bike. It is oil injected so you don’t need to pre-mix gas. I know many of you are scared of an oil pump failing (similar to the KTM TPI bikes), but I had no issues on this one.
Thanks to Beta USA for lending this bike to me for the review. This is not a paid review in any way. After really enjoying this bike, I have purchased my own 2020 Beta 300RR Race Edition for my next review.

This video is what made me go for a 200rr instead of a bigger bike and im so happy with it! been giving it to a few 300 guys and they were really surprised by how well it performed. 10/10 would recommend this for anyone looking into trying enduro or want something to rip around the yard.

I’m considering adding a 2 stroke to the mix and have really appreciated your detailed and honest reviews, thanks!

I had a KTM 200, perfect size two stroke in my opinion. Can lug really well but still revs quick and has top end.

Good review. About 30 hours in my 2019 200rr and thus far I am having the time of my life on that machine. I think I couldn't have made a better choice for my first full size two stroke enduro bike. Good stuff, indeed.

If this bike was a few thousand dollars cheaper, I’d be completely 100% into it.

I appreciate the turning radius info. We ride very tight ditches and the turn radius would be a deal killer. Information like this is invaluable. Thanks again.

Your description of this bike sounds just like my KTM 200! Big difference was that I had a 2006 which was the last year of the 125 Chassis. Which made the bike a little smaller which was awesome and confidence inspiring.

I rode this bike during one of Beta's demo days and I loved it. I love 200 CC 2 strokes, they're the perfect size for me. Like you said, it's the perfect balance of power and torque and doesn't beat you up. You can lug it or wind it out. I ride more MX style but I still loved this bike. I had to Frankenbike the bike I ride now. I had a 2004 KTM 200 SX but didn't like the rear pds suspension so I bought a 2015 150 SX and swapped the 200 SX engine in it and couldn't be happier but the 200 RR from Beta is one hell of a bike. I had the same problem with the limited steering throw on my KTM but I took the bolts that were acting as stops and turned them in a couple turns. It makes a little contact with the radiators but it's worth it in my opinion.

I own a 2019 200 rr. I think you did the most accurate review I have watched on youtube. Only other thing is the vibration is tireing on long rides on the 2019 anyway. I ride single track in the Tillamook Forest. Thinking about a 2022 300 xcw mainly for the suspension. Thanks Kyle!

It would be great to see the 2020 beta 300rr race version review from you if at all possible. I’m very interested in the new counter balanced engine. Love your channel and especially your honest reviews. Kudos to Beta for letting you review their bikes. They must be a real stand up company that backs their products and always listening to their consumers to improve their products. Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next video.

It sounds good for me, plus you can wire the signals, put a couple of mirrors, and be able to ride on the road also.
