- The weirdest Scottish fairytale, the Two Sisters is both Norse myth AND Celtic folktale. Potentially a medieval story and a Child ballad, Binnorie doesn’t have fairies but it does have crime and mystery and HARPS MADE OF BONES.
Be careful of water and siblings, I guess?

So whose side are you on? And which ending is the true one in your opinion? 🤔
I like the sister who comes back to life but I understand how the other sister felt about having her boyfriend stolen. That jealousy is a real b*tch!
The true one I think is the one were the harp broke. The most beautiful one I think is the one were the younger sister returned to life 🌱🌿
@@romyeichhorn1386 my tender heart also likes that one the most! I wonder what happened to the harper dude
I love the mix between the storytelling and the filming. This one is one of my favorite of yours!
Thank you! I think it's my favourite too ✨
I´m on Loreena Mckennit´s side hahaha. Beautiful video!
haha good answer! and thanks 🥰
I love the videos you added! I adore your storytelling. You look absolutely enchanting in this video!
Ah thank you! I really enjoyed telling this dark story ❤
Oh wow, it's so wild how those songs grow and change over time...in the version I've heard, the fairer sister is turned into a fiddle instead of a harp, and it doesn't break. It just plays one sad song, and there isn't anything else about the murdering sister. A few other differences to the story, but clearly this is the root. Great video!
the rise of sibling rivalry....to a deadly extent....
tale as old as time
Having two wicked older sisters myself, I can relate to this story very well.
Great story!
The harp snapping broken is so dramatic an ending and fitting for the story.
Harpers got to harp I guess.
fair! but did it have to be bones??? and hair???? 🤣
@@ailenalma Could have been worse, might have used her teeth and intestines. That's way more gross. 🤢
@@GMac2776 haha true! I guess it's good those were the only parts left
You are an amazing storyteller; I like the last version where the sister came back to life.
the filming/ commitment to these are amazing ❤
Loved it!
So happy you did!
Story gave me chills. Thank you. Look forward to more.
So happy you enjoyed it 😄 I'm editing another video right now!
@@ailenalma Awesome!!! Hope it has a happy ending, the realm needs more of those.
Keep crushing
Había escuchado muchas referencias del Arpa doncella pero no savia el cuento original , me encanto
Es una historia memorable! Qué bueno que te haya interesado
And in the version sung by Clannad: "The miller, he was hung on the mountain head/ the eldest sister was boiled in lead" That is one more ending to choose from. I love the happy melody of this one, so wonderfully morbid 👌
Gee poor Miller, what did he do wrong? Lol
@@rivertam7827 in this version he robs her and pushes her back into the water
Sending love and light ❤
thank you! 😊
That would be an ESH for me lol
William for cheating
Dead sister for stealing her sister's betrothed
Cruel sister for murdering her sister instead of her cheating boyfriend
r/AITA fairytale style 😂
Apparently, it is legal in some places for blood-related sisters to share a husband, valid form of polygamy.
