Through never-before-seen photo and video archives spanning two decades - including concert performances, backstage moments and intimate interviews - this film follows the epic journey of Eugene Hütz, Gogol frontman and one of the greatest storytellers of our time. A Romani born in Ukraine, Hütz fled his homeland during the Chernobyl disaster. Now, after years of exorcising demons through his music, he is going home to face down the biggest demon of all. A wild punk-rock-doc that explodes off the screen, Scream of My Blood is a testament to the power of speaking your truth, no matter the cost.

Can't wait to see this documentary! Absolutely iconic band. Seeing them live is a must, hands down best show I've ever been to.
I agree 100% I had never heard of them and I went to Leeds fest 2010 when I was 17. I saw them play while waiting for another band and they were one of the best bands I saw all weekend and it was a good year with who was playing. My son is 8 and loves their music. So glad they can put their music and influence towards good.
I loved when they first hit the scene - in Chicago I got to touch Eugene Hutz’s boot when he crows surfed at the Metro in 2006! Right after Everything is Illuminated came out. : )
holy smokes I haven't heard the name Gogol Bordello in years.. was a huge part of my punk identity growing up, from gypsy punk to crust punk it was a hell of a time

Yes, I have the same question. How will this full documentary be released. We would really like to see it.
From what I've seen online, its being shown locally at indie film festivals like Tribeca.
But on the bright side I haven't seen a sign of a related streaming service in sight, could just get pushed onto HBO ofc tho. Keeping the hope up it'll be posted in full here eventually fr.

I didn't realize they were Ukrainian. Awesome!
They are not, though the singer is. Other members are from all over (Russia, Scotland, Israel, Ecuador, the US, and possibly elsewhere).

Does anyone know where you can watch the documentary?
The first and only time I ever saw them play was at Coachella 2007 in the small tent. They played last on Friday night and they were so good that they absolutely blew me away and they were my favorite band that entire weekend even more better than Rage Against the Machine who I went to see specifically

I was a fan since the mid 00s, but had to step back after Eugene continuously shared pictures of Uke soldiers with Totenkopf and Black Sun patches etc, as well as glorifying child soldiers.
I always thought GB were anti-fascist, so it was disheartening to see their blind support for the post-coup government.
One of top 3 best shows of my life, hands down. Love Gogol... 💚
