Mcgizmo is the godfather of custom flashlights. Any serious collector should have at least one. Don is still building these today.

Hey man! My comment disappeared so trying again haha. Great video, been enjoying the channel since i fell down the 🐇 🕳️. I just reviewed it as well. You can buy these now. Don has a website where you pick your options, then email him the order. Got mine a month ago. Its about $470 with Haiku head, any body, and cracked ice clip. Ill drop his email in another comment as YT may not let me post it.

Fantastic, thank you. The haiku is a work of art. It is one of the most iconic if not, the most iconic EDC Flashlight ever made. It is very special and has an ex factor that only owners understand. It is like the Toyota Land Cruiser. Very very expensive And you need to understand the product to understand why. They will always be sought after with high, resale value, very durable, waterproof, and have a legendary grail status behind the name. Thanks again for the wonderful video.

Will you be checking out Emisar/Noctigon lights by Hank?
They are more for fun than function though. :)

There was a thread on Candlepowerforums about a Haiku that survived a house fire. The home was completely lost but the Haiku was found. The battery had exploded and blown out the lens. They sent it back to Don, he cleaned the light, installed a new light engine and lens. Then the same light was sent back to the owner. If that isn't a testament to how tough a Mcgizmo is, I don't know what is!!!!

Been wanting one for years but it is so expensive. Really like that it uses titanium too.

I love my Haiku but I must say, I also love my Reylight. Still a custom titanium light but a much lower price!

A SPY007 was my grail light and I sold my Haiku to buy one. I sold the 007 in about a month. The 007 was beautiful, great interface and a great EDC......... with one exception, it wasn't waterproof. A light that expensive is something that I couldn't risk damaging over something so simple. That was about 5 years ago, I bought Haiku and still carry it to this oday
