Both Luciano Pavarotti and Seth Riggs are talking about Belcanto and Passaggio. In this video you can easily see that they share the same idea of Singing.
Seth Riggs' Speech Level Singing idea is to go back to the old italian school.
In the first part of the video Pavarotti talks about covering the sound through the passaggio, putting into practice the old italians' precepts, in the second part Seth Riggs talks about singing through the passaggio with a narrow (rouded) vowel which allows to sing from chest to head with no breaks, no straining, with a stable larynx.
The result in both videos is the same. No "strangled" voice, no strain, no pulling - "no fatica". - Krátké a kreslené filmy
i always laugh when i see pavarotti speaking
.."after 20 years of course"
Lol yes he threw a good joke there
Ok. Now i understand more my mistakes, although I am a bass... but their is one time, first and so far last that I sing with Pavarotti tone, it was not easy. It was a Christmas Song, "Adeste Fideles". good thing as I watched and listen to Great Grand Master Pavarotti I get to learn how he do things, our Choir Handler were I thought surprised cuz He said "you really push it when your alone" (when we were rehearsing) one of the eldest member of the church who also sing, liked whatIi did. Thank God!... However because I lack practice I loose my breath easily. But still, I am a Bass. Thank God again, I am the best in the group, thanks also of course to Idol Pavarotti!!!
Bravo Pavarotti!!
man, they're blessed
Pavarotti said it so much more eloquently in English than Seth did in Italian.
wow. seth is MAD!
What’s misleading is you can sing “uh” with chest as well and it’s still not the same feeling as covering the sound. I wish they demonstrate that on the same note same vowel instead of changing both.
BOTH GENIUSES... SETH EXPLAIND IT BETTER..PAVAROTTI SUNG IT BETTER ,,,,,,,,,,,
omg pavarotti is hilarious :) "piu fatica" haha
Giustissimo!!! Bravo Riggs!!! lol Ho sempre detto Riggs in gamba! :)
Поваротти сказал о прикрытом звуке на воздухе в резонаторе, Сет Ригс больше о прямом звуке
hilarious

How the hell do they do it, i have been trying for so long and not even close.
10 years of bel canto, and MAYBE you'll be able to do it.
@@alexavasile3128 no, if it takes you 10 years, it's not for you

Mix voice is felt more than cognitized. Lift up the soft palate and pull back so the sound resonates more in the back of the mouth. Everyone has a different way of explaining it and feeling it. It’s an individualized thing.
@@alexavasile3128 more like 4-5 with proper technique the next 5 years is micro-improvements
Its just vowel modification. Ah - Oh- Uh
One is the result of the other
offcaurse riggs voice is hoarse not good for presentation, but idea the same-mixed covering voice
