    TL;DR summary
    1. Prioritise reading in your life (make a wishlist / want-to-read list)
    2. Read everywhere (include other options like e-reader / audiobooks)
    3. 'Read smart' - make sure you're using the best practices/techniques on reading efficiently
    4. Stop reading books that suck - perhaps if you're not enjoying it, or you're just continually getting stuck in it
    5. Read impulsively - if you get into something, read it right now rather than waiting since you are enthusiastic
    6. Read multiple books at the same time
    7. Take notes and keep track
    8. Make a goal out of it (perhaps either book/year, or by minutes / day etc)

I always enjoyed reading but once I got into highschool and for me to finish it with straight As it was not easy to feel like reading so I just quit it without even realizing. Once I did I made myself a deal "Hey, read 15 books this year" (this was in Dec 2018) and so I started since 15 books is not a lot. Actually, since I had the goal so low I got it really fast because I just simply gained the habit of reading again. In the end of 2019 I think I finished the year with 33 books in my mind. I was really happy. I read so many good books and I finally felt happy and excited about books again. I did a lot of videos about books in my channel, I was watching booktubers, I participated in readathons, it was so fun. So this year I told myself to read 40 books. I'm on my 35 so I won't get it done but I'm not sad or anything. I read BIG books all the time so it is kinda hard for me to read so much (I need to rely on my local library and I dont have any audiobook app so I need to get away with what I get) so in Portugal books have the font a lot smaller than UK or the USA so a book there is almost twice as thick than here but I usually read books with over 300 so it is not an easy task sometimes haha. Still, I had so much fun these past 2 years. I'm in uni now so I feel even more pressured and sad that I dont have so much time to read but I'll continue doing it. I reread Harry Potter last year and I loved it so much, this year and I read for the 1st time LOTR and I'm finishing the reread now. I discovered so many good books and I'm really grateful that I can experience so much through paper with people that dont even exist. My last book was "The Shadow of the Wind" and WHAT A BOOK. People say it is a future classic just like the book thief but, even though is not as good as this last one it was SOOOOOOOOO GOOD. I still cant put into words how amazing it was. Lets hope 2021 brings us a lot more books

Reading time is relaxing time. If you can find a chair the sun is hitting and you like coffee or tea, it's amazing and you don't even want to watch a video or whatever thing you do on your phone. To be honest I kinda liked doing this with watching videos too. I don't really see books as a higher form of entertainment. But sometimes I like to build a backlog of yt videos from creators I like. Basically I just like knowing I have something I enjoy so I don't have to waste time looking for something when I have free time. Finding a good book, finding a good game, finding a good series of videos... That's when I feel happy for a week. Finding the next thing is what sucks. YT has tricked us into thinking it's so convenient to refresh you subscriptions or look at what the algorithm has suggested for you. But it's the same as channel surfing from back in the days of cable TV. You start to feel like everything sucks.
The only problem with books is I need quiet to enjoy them, and often it's just not quiet :( So I end up wasting time looking for videos because I need the noise to block out the outside noise. Reading when it's quiet is really absorbing though.

I can take the inspiration from point 6. Read multiple books at the same time and use multiple sources and tutorials or courses. Or take point 7. Take notes and keep track - Surely I can do this during my python learning progression. Same for the rest of the points
