@@octaviocontreras2239 Not really, if you side with others he'll just look at you and keep it to himself, he doesn't get angry and pissed like Violet did.
I hate how they have options telling Louis is a wimp who can’t defend himself wtf he was fighting the raiders as much as the other kids, in one option he tackles Lilly to save Clementine what the hell
@@ljentertainment6632 i mean he is insecure but sure he is not a wimp i was hoping he would do a lot more things in this ep But at least he killed another raider dorian i think but it was an accident lol
@Martin Lopez skin color≠race. Let me ask you this, have you seen the picture of her parents? Let me also ask you, did you know that the developers of Telltale confirmed she is African American?
So all these things could happen to Louis Losing his best friend Betrayed by his best friend Possibly getting the blame from Clem because AJ got shot Possibly get shot in the shoulder if you tell Violet to shoot Lilly Possibly get his feelings rejected Possibly that Clem picks Violet over him Possibly getting kidnapped and his tongue cut out. And he still hugged you after all that? Damn, you could really make his life miserable if you want to.
BlackWingedSeraph, Violet is the Jane, and Clementine is Kenny in the fight with Violet vs Clementine, and I’ve always liked Clementine and Kenny more than Jane and Violet.
15:22 little detail, he expression changes slightly when she hears Louis. Deep inside her, she regrets her actions, and Louis touched her emotionally. Amazing little detail there
I don’t hate Violet or anything but, this is another reason why saving Louis is the best option. If you leave Louis behind, his tongue gets cut off but he hugs you and he’s still happy to see you, just shows how.
Emilio Stuff lmao what, it’s just a game. Plus he had the right to talk and defend his friends, obviously, he could’ve stopped talking but I’m not blaming him.
@Overreigned I don't think he talked too much just to defend his friends. It is not like his friends die in Violet's route too, so this shows that he didn't even need to talk
@Overreigned And Louis also could turn on you at Brody's situation remember,he can act bitchy to AJ and you. Violet's reaction was equal to that, Minnie was her childhood friend and she lost many people. When Clem also turned on her (if you chose this in game) she jusy becomes sad and angry as result.
I definitely prefer this version more than louis’ situation. It took violet about what? a day or 2 for her to be with minnie for her to completely switch up on clem? The fact that she wasn’t gonna let clem help anyone else irked me. She just became another minnie. Also I prefer this cause, vi and clem could always come around. In louis’ we lost what made him louis and we can’t get that back
im also seeing comments about people understand why violet is mad at clem and bringing up louis’ being mad at clem. while I do agree with that, louis started to change the minute he saw that aj was hurt. he realized that they were gonna need Clem’s help and apologized where as violet completely changed and was gonna stop clem from saving everyone and let them stay with lily. this scene also shows that maybe vi isn’t has strong as we think she is
deesheaux both situations arent comparable AT ALL lmfao. louis did a 360 when he saw AJ cos he wasnt in a fucking jail cell, he had the CHOICE to do that. violet was kidnapped, thrown into a cell on a boat headed someplace far away, with hopes of a rescue being grim. she was manipulated into obeying delta, threatened that if she or her friends tried to leave, they would get tortured or killed. the emotional stress of being in a situation like that will make any mentally vulnerable person develop stockholm syndrome, which is what violet has now, and also justifies why she refused to escape at all. violet IS a mentally weak person, with unchecked mental issues before all this delta bs happened, so i dont exactly blame her for crumbling so quickly and resorting to the easy way out.
but thats the point ... violet IS being turned into another minnie. minerva has severe stockholm syndrome, and violet is slowly getting there since her psychological wellbeing is extremely vulnerable. just because violet wasn't physically mutilated like louis doesnt mean her and clem can just "come around" from this ..... stockholm syndrome and depression are extremely damaging mental issues, and violet's emotional state at this point is honestly irreversible
Violet has trust abandonment issues. She thought she could trust Clem but if you choose Louis then obviously she gets mad. Violet and Minerva dated so now Violet feels like she can only trust Minerva now, that’s why she chooses to stay behind.
Man if you save violet, even when Louis is terrified and lost his tongue he doesn't show any bitterness towards Clem. He hugs her. But if you have Violet get kidnapped she not only betrays Clem but her entire group, and even assaults clem. And even at the end of the Game Louis still cares for Clem while Violet it literally says in the end credits she hates Clem for leaving her.
Say what you want about Marlon, but Violet's behavior towards him after he died was a sign. Everyone was just too pissed at Marlon to notice it. The other kids at the school at least took a few days to try and rationalize why and be mad at them for killing Marlon. Even if he did what he did he was still their friend for a long time. Violet on the other hand, turned her back on him in an instant, and immediately resorted to hating him. If she did that to him, then she could do it to Clem too. And she did.
@@n.m.4138 So because you betray your friend and they get their tongue cut out and they're still happy to see you. Justifies leaving them there I Guess.
@@lovelyminx6444 I'd like to think that its similar to most games of "Would You Rather." The idea would not be which option is best, but which option sucks the least, which is still a matter of preference but I guess that's where the difficulty comes in
Louis is so darn sweet guys. He can get has finger chopped off if you don't let AJ attack Dorian and yet when he shoots her he's apologizing right after it.
18:04 “WE’LL KILL YOU!” “You think you can kill me?” *couple mins later...* “I DON’T WANNA DIE!!” “*BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG*” “AJ STOP!” Lol kills me every time 😂
@Overreigned remind me who protected Clem from the kids at the beginning of Episode 2? Who voted for her to stay? Who became the leader of the school after Marlon's death? Hell, maybe I'm forgetting something and it was actually Louis. But from what I recall, he only showed a lack of responsibility and screwed around while everyone was preparing to defend the school. He didn't even have the common sense to behave in captivity that Omar and Aasim had.
@Overreigned damn, you seem to have so many insecurities I don't even know where to start. Keep it together and stop projecting your own problems onto others.
Well now that I think about it, he only hugged clementine because he got traumatised by the tongue cutting thing. I still don't think he would have acted as bitchy as Violet but man it broke my heart seeing him in such state. At least tongues grow back, I only hope his sanity will too.
Ya he was shocked. He never killed anyone before just walkers and ya he fought back raider but he never killed anyone. This is probably his first human kill
honestly, saving louis is the best option EVEN WHEN clem and vi are together. vi will come around eventually, and she even kisses u on the cheek at the end. but if u save vi, louis loses what makes louis, louis.
dont get me wrong, I like violet as a character. but I feel like she only sided with us just because marlon also got rid of the twins. all she kept saying was "and what he done to the twins" but never mentioned AJ was just a little kid.
Violet has trouble trusting people. She only lost: her grandparents, Minnie&Sophie and her parents(that threw her into a school for kids with problems) She wants to be sure she can rely on people, so she can choose people that choose her. Earlier in the game, she tried to "save" Clem and AJ, she tried to let them stay, because she cared about them. After this, she needed saving, and she saw clementine not trying to help her. She felt hurt, as anyone would feel in her shoes. She was left by a person she trusted, by a person she cared about... And she felt lost again. That's why she is cold towards Clem and seems to don't care about her. Left by Clementine, she seeks help in Minnie, her ex-girlfriend she thought was dead for over a year. Violet got her back. She is blinded by love and doesn't notice how drastically Minerva changed. She is being brainwashed, just like Minnie. She is not a "bitch" and she doesn't deserve hate. Don't forget, Louis forgave Clementine and AJ in, like, 2 weeks. Violet deserves the same amount of time, and the same understanding you gave Louis. They are not rude, not horrible, not assholes. They are REAL. (this is how I see the situation, my words are based ONLY on the content we were given, i don't know the characters' development in the next episode.) P.S.: At first, I started disliking Violet because of her actions in this scene, but I later understood, from other fans, that she has the rights to feel abandoned and lost. I don't agree with her "attacking" Clem, but, as I said, as human beings, everyone can act like this in a situation like this one. Don't comment hateful comments, this is my comment(therefore, my opinion)
@@ClairvoyantDreams358 This is why Clem x Louis is the best strong with much sense Making the relationship between clementine and violet stupidly forced
People, you are forgetting that Violet and Louis are unaware of what happens to the other if they are captured. Neither is responsible for the fate of the other. Violet’s and Louis’s reactions are valid and well within their characters. Yes, Louis got the worst of it, but Violet also experiences trauma.
I hate on how there’s always a war in the comments about Louis and violet and who’s better for Clem and in general;like I know that people are entitled to they’re opinions but it doesn’t need to get so personal sometimes
Shadow Heart I agree. If you don’t like choices shown in the video. Play the fucking game and stop complaining about “certain character is shitty this and that”. Most people who “ship” clem and Louis can’t even spell like what? 😂😂😂
Ness plus Lucas equals OP Preach!!!!👏👏 And coming from that this game is rated Mature+ which means that it’s 18+ soooo i don’t know what a bunch of lil dudes are doing here, but I guess anyone can like anything I just want to damn argument between the 2 to end but figures that none will listen
I don't care about who's "better" for Clem. I ship her with both. What I DO care about is Louis WITH his tongue attached and with all his fingers attached. I care about Violet, but she's on her own if she chooses to betray me, you can't change people's minds (usually, but it's not worth anyone's energy). Louis is too good a person to have that happen to him. So saving him over Violet is what I see as canon as far as I'm concerned.
I thought that, after everything i read about Vi in this scenario, I would end up hate her, but honestly? It just makes me sad She clearly wasn't in the best mental state at the start, and, if you know about the reason she went to ericson and that shit, we know that she had strong separation and trust issues with other people. From her point of view, in ep 2 she just cared and protected Clem just for Clem to let her be captured. In the dialogue now about the Delta, Minnie and the rest, is just clear that she's going through the first phase of brainwashing, just like Minnie. Louis and Vi have had completely different reactions in the game itself because they are such different personalities, and in the same way we understood when Louis got mad (and sad) at Clem when Marlon died, I understand Vi's point now. Not saying they are good or ideal reactions, but they are teens, and human. Love them both.
@Charles XII Even if Louis hadn't gone through that, everyone would still hate Violet if she still had the canon reaction while Louis approached the situation in a calm, kinda emotional way (how I suppose it would go, matching it with his characterization). We just need to understand that trauma isn't dealt in just one way, specially when we're talking about such different personalities, and that its a complex theme. It isn't fair to just say a character is an "asshole" or a "bitch" without seeing all sides of the story (I'm not excusing their actions when they are being irrational, they are not great. Just trying to give them a reason and sympathize with them).
It really goes to show how people view mental health from how much hate violet is getting since even beginning because her character is written out to be damaged and misunderstood vs a very funny and chill character like Louis . People can’t see beyond the surface
Exactly, guys. Besides, looking at both backstories of Louis and Violet, we see they're both troubled, of course. But then again, we have a girl that lost her grandmother in such a young age and just stood there, without knowing what to do X a rich boy, that seemed unhappy by the fact his father denied him singing lessons. We must FUCKING ANYLISE why they acted the way they did the whole season. But how @river said, it's easier to look up the surface anyway. People love strong and misunderstood characters, but only if they "redeem" and got their personality changed A LOT after some time.
@Ashley Starlight I was totally Sad about her reaction, since I liked her since the start, instead of Louis. But I understand why she acted like that... She has difficulties on trust in other people, and just when she thought Clem would always helping her when she needed. That choice happened. She felt betreyed and all, which made her believe on Minerva's side of story ( the start of the brainwash). We can see the difference of her reactions depending whether she trust u or not. I Just can't accept when she heard that Minerva killed her own sister, and still attacks Clem. We gotta wait the final ep to do any conclusions about her now...
@@n.m.4138 She turns on you every damn time you mess up, she is useless as all hell, if this was real life, yeah i would save louis. Im just saying its my opinion.
bitch if a girl u knew for 2 weeks left ur ass to save someone else and u got emotionally fucked up by psychopaths, would u forgive them within 2 days? ur fucking delusional if u think its that easy
If she saw Clem holding a bow, she likely saw Louis being forced back too. She isn't the best mentally, but surely she would have realised that she would be able to handle the delta more than Louis (evidently) could. I understand her distaste for Clem, but then you have her other friends who definitely don't want to be there. Even if she didn't want to go home she shouldn't want to stop them from going home.
In their defense, they see the people they care about as saints. Louis kicked clem out for his best friend who he thought didnt do anything wrong. Same goes for Violet. She didnt know Minnie was really evil, just confused
@@TheMiksonPL Lol and Violet is the exact same. Clementine allowed her to get kidnapped, even after everything Violet did everything to defend her and AJ. Her reason is pretty solid too.
louis doesn’t deserve any of what happened to him when he had gotten his tongue cut out. People who hate him forget how toxic violet is, and disgusting if a person she was to the people she knew for years only to turn her back on them like she did with Clementine. Louis was justified to feel how he did, and felt bad afterwards while violet never took full accountability 🙄 if she were real I’d avoid someone like her
The fact that Vii will hold a grudge like this shows that if Clem were in a relationship with her, and then they fought, she wouldn't let it go. Where as, Louis would.
@@BlackWingedSeraphX maybe you don't realize that it's her mental issue with trust. First Louis is shows dislike towards you, then violet. And now who's actually receiving the hate? I think it's more that she wants to trust or count on people. Y'know, a lot of individuals left her on her own in life developing this problem with trust. And to learn that your a close friend had turned on all of yours? I'd wouldn't exactly be cheerful either. Now stop with all the vi hate. If you don't want it, just save her over louis. Everyone is still friends in the end.
@@n.m.4138 The only time Louis showed dislike to Clem was after AJ murdered Marlon, which is a good reason for him to be mad. Violet I understand but that doesn't excuse attacking Clem physically. I get where Vi is coming from but what she did is worse than what Louis did in my opinion.
Just want to mention, When Louis got his tongue cut off because Clem saved Violet instead of him, he never turned on her.. he even smiled at her. When Clem saved Louis instead of Vi, she complains, gets mad and fuckin' betrays her!! And yes, Louis got mad at her and AJ for killing his best friend SINCE CHILDHOOD.. however, he did let them in and helped AJ when he got shot. He even felt very guilty because he had sent them away and stayed with AJ for a while to apologize. I don't hate Violet, but I definitely don't like her.
This. Louis suffers so much more, yet he holds nothing against you because he understands it was a snap choice. Only time to save one person at the time, and you still fight to get the other one out. Like what does Violet really have to complain about? Louis gets his fawking tongue snipped, Violet gets her feelings hurt, lol. People saying Louis was a dick before but its not even a valid argument. Your kid basically shot his best friend/like brother in the back of the head after he had surrendered and was surrounded by a group that had turned against him. He was literally broken and no longer a threat, so of course Louis was pissed at first.
I find the Vi hate pretty hilarious. Louis lovers conveniently forget that Vi's reaction here is pretty much the exact same reaction Louis had when Marlon died, but suddenly that is magically forgiven. You know, kicking Clem and AJ out to fend for themselves even after the revelation that Marlon was to blame? Yeah, let's forget Vi (despite trust issues) is arguably the only one to back them up. People also seem to magically forget the context behind Vi's situation - that Lily has more leverage to brainwash her thanks to Minnie. They did not have that with Louis, hence his outcome is less pleasant, yet either way, both lose. So, afford that same courtesy to the other character instead of weighing it against the consequences you only discover with repeat play, and for the love of god, yes, everyone has an 'opinion' but you don't have to be a total sheep just because you can have one. If you're here then the chances are you have played the games many times or watched footage of alternate choices, enough to see how it all pans out in the end. If you can't forgive Vi for being angry post-brainwash then you're a hypocrite if you gave that to Louis beforehand for flipping out without brainwashing.
It's called Sympathy, dingus. It's why people forgive Louis easier than Violet. Louis lost his best freind of 10 years. Violet was on a boat for less than 2 days. And even then, they went through all the effort to find her, sneak onboard, and blast their way out, and she STILL was pissed off. She was ungrateful. Louis wasn't wrong for kicking them out. They didn't feel safe with AJ willing to kill a guy who'd already given up. Even a dumbass like Pewdiepie said he wouldn't feel safe with that kid around lmao. Violet getting brainwashed this quickly shows she's not as strong as you shippers try and act. If Clem fails the QTE, Violet punches her hard across the face. Enough to draw blood. Imagine if Louis did that! xD You'd all be calling him abusive/disgusting/etc. and rightfully so! But since Violet did it, and is a girl, it's okay.
Louis' reaction made sense. His best friend got killed in a situation that could've been fixed by just talking about it, and he eventually forgave them with some really good development. And keep in mind, if Louis gets captured, his tongue gets cut out! That gives him "some" reason to actually be mad at Clem but he isn't even upset when she shows up. Violet betrays Clem and acts like a whiny little brat because she had to make a decision. And don't even bother to give the "she voted for them" excuse. It doesn't even matter in the end and her reaction towards Marlon's death doesn't make any sense. If you really want me to explain why, then you shouldn't bother asking because you're not even worth the answer.
Kent Mudle, creative director of the game, has this to say in his twitter regarding Violet's change in personality: I’ve actually seen some very thoughtful write ups that explain this well, but the gist here is, you need to imagine all this from Violet’s perspective. When you meet Violet in 401 she’s very closed off and bitter. She opens up to Clementine since she sees something in her, which for Violet no doubt felt like a big risk. She hasn’t been truly close to anyone since Minnie, and probably spends more time thinking about leaving than she does being close with the other kids. When Marlon dies and 402 happens, Violet through sheer force of “fuck it I’ll do it” becomes a leader and stresses the fuck out for weeks trying to keep everyone alive (because deep down she cares about them all) and if Clementine wasn’t around, she never would have had the strength to even try to fight back against the raiders. Even if she doesn’t romance/friend date Clementine, she puts a lot of faith in her, faith she clearly didn’t have in Marlon. She risks it all on Clementine being someone worth believing in. (if you do go to the roof, you can see Violet has issues about being left behind by many people she’d cared for, they all leave, but Clementine came back) Then she SEES Clementine save Louis instead of her. She’s cracked across the head and throw into a cage and taken on what must have been a terrifying ride through the dark woods. She’s brought aboard the ship like an animal, thrown in a different cage, threatened, scared. This is a teenage girl, recall. And then MINNIE. Alive, and in her now vulnerable state, a face she loved telling her it will all be okay as long as NO ONE fights back. In extreme situations people cling to whatever comfort they know. Who hasn’t looked at your ex’s facebook page when you felt down? Or felt how easy it would be to fall back into their arms and forget all your problems? She became leader, trusted Clementine, and it all blew up in her face. A horrible mixture of shame, regret, fear, exhaustion, and a desire to just make it all go away lead Violet to cooperate. Violet extended herself farther than she has in years to believe in Clementine, and in her experience it was all a huge mistake. She got that same speech Minnie gives Clementine in the woods, and in her compromised state, she believed it. Her attacking Clem is a desperate desire to stop anyone else from getting hurt. She’s at the beginning stages of the total brainwash we see Minnie suffering from. (especially in the captured Louis side when Minnie is screaming “we just lay down, fall in line, and we get to live! And if you don’t, people die! The people you LOVE, die!”) I think her reaction is human, and I appreciate the players I see that understand that.
Oof all these arguments in the comments hurt my eyes, IT'S TOO *TOXIC* Can we all just agree that it's just a game and it's your choice to who you save? Pls? *:')))*
I. This hurts, I love violet, everything depends on the choices you make, Yes she may betray you but she Also Doesnt betray you if You choose the right Choices, just chill, Im not saying you cant hate her, just know that she doesnt just betray you with every choice you make in the game.
It's personality based.Louis is the light hearted, morale boosting, happy go lucky guy, who we all know needs to be more... serious and responsible (given their situation). In result, when he got captured he got his tongue cut off. Funny how clementine stated in one scene in this episode (if u saved violet) that "Louis knows when to keep his head down". Maybe he tried to lighten up the situation for the others (as expected from this lovable goofball)? A valiant effort. Cost him his tongue tho. Or most probably when Lily went down into their cell to impose her rules and beliefs on the captured teens (brainwash and threaten~) Omar and Aasim caved in but Louis talked back, told her off (Which was confirmed by the 2 other guys "He (Louis) just kept talking!"). Bam! Lily ordered to get his tongue cut off. (BUT understand that his tongue getting cut off isnt directly because the player didnt chose him previously. Thats just his personality into play. Violet didnt lose her tongue. Neither did Omar and Aasim) While Violet is this serious, pragmatic, fiercely loyal (when u have proven that youre actually worth that said loyalty- slow to trust), introverted gal. Who we know needs to lighten up a little. LolWhen she got captured she has done what Louis hasnt. Kept her head down and evaluated the situation. And THAT is when lily and minnie struck. Capitalized on Vi's trait like that. Turned her strength into weakness (damn that sick f lily). Brainwashed her into thinking that maybe we really shouldnt have fought back? We didnt need to lose anybody else (which has always been a huge thing for Violet). We'll have a home where we can be comfortable and be well fed to boot. And that Clementine is the bad guy all along?! Afterall since this new kid appeared everyone has been dropping down dead like flies (exactly what minnie has been spouting all throughout ep 3 if u noticed). Now, considering she has feelings for clem too (it wouldnt have hurt that much if not) just really fucked up Vi inside. And she's been left thinking like that, stuck in her cell for days. Losing a body part is far worse than getting your mind fucked, yes. But at least know and understand where these characters are coming from or how or why things are the way they were. I personally think that the whole tongue being cut off biz has more to do with Loius' mistake as a character than the actual players' fault or doing. And that hating on Violet just because she didnt suffer worse as Louis and her being a "bitch" about it constitutes to her being unworthy of saving is just .... idrk i feel ...sad? Loosely putting it.
Actually getting your mind fucked is far worse than losing a body part because 1:you will mostly never change back to normal 2:you might suicide, not enjoying life ever again etc 3:it will greatly affect others around you But it depends on the gravity of it
@@Llama_Loca What, both Violet and Louis had their mind fucked, Just looking at Louis when Lilly shows up, shows he is shocked and afraid, so lets take a look at the facts, Violet got her mind fucked and attacked Clementine, Louis lost his tongue (so he will never talk again, and what about eating?) Also he obviously went through a trauma and was happy when he saw Clementine, so yeah Louis in prison was way worse and he wasn't even mad at Clem
@@elaste I wasn't saying violet had it worse,I just corrected the fact that you said "losing a body part is way worse than getting your mind fucked" and I also said that it depends In the bodypart lost
Exactly! I don't get why people are hating on Vi (or Skybound) about the whole tongue thing with Louis. While it is sad and stuff, it was mostly his mistake for either talking back or just keep talking when he was told to stop. Vi's mind was fucked with, and that can have a huge impact on your life or the lives of others around you. She was in fact brainwashed and that can also have a huge impact. She liked and trusted Clem, and now that her head was being filled with lies that Clem was the bad guy, really fucked with her. But at the end of the day, i think that saving Louis is the better option, considering he will have his tongue still and he can eat and talk as well. (And all the Clouis shippers will be happy) I am just giving my simple opinion.
Saving Louis and having him as a love interest will always be the better option in my opinion. Deep down I feel Violet will always have some sort of feelings for Minerva no matter who else comes along, (Clem) and that’s why if you don’t save Violet she betrays you because she’d rather be on Minerva’s side rather than go against her personal feelings for her. Where as when you save Violet and she becomes a love interest, poor Louis gets his tongue cut out yet he’s STILL happy to see Clem and hugs her like he didn’t want to lose her it’s so sad. Also if you save Violet she basically shoots Minerva but stays behind with her so either way choosing her isn’t a good thing.
Listen, I was mad about this at first too but if you understand Violet then you'll understand her betrayal because she is clearly an insecure, shy, antisocial person with trust issues who REALLY cares about Clementine and finally has someone to be close with again and you can see the happiness when she hugs Clementine during the dance and the reason she was sent to the school also shows how fucked up she is so after understanding Violet I love her and ship this even more
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS!! Everyone is saying “oh nothing happened to Vi” but she was always fucked up in the head plus if you save Louis then Vi becomes blind
Not yall using mental illness to justify her actions. You Violet stans are a broken record I stg. Everyone has mental issues, ptsd, trauma, etc. in the apocalypse and in this universe. Violet isn't special. There are plenty of people with mental issues and disorders who are good people and treat others with human decency. Violet isn't one of these people. She's a messy bitch.
Thanks you for saying this. Everyone is just heating Violet when probably doesn’t know her because they never try to be close to her. Imagine, you start to like someone (or to be very close with someone) having trust issues, you start to feel happy again and BAM that person leaves you to your luck and doesn’t try to help you. How do you feel? Cause I will feel pretty similar to Violet 🧍♀️
What did you expect, how could Louis argue with Clem tongueless. I am pretty sure he questioned why he wasnt rescued many times, but he couldnt flip shit on Clem because of his situation. Lost his tongue
Its awesome how much effort skybound put on this episode so you can actually feel the weight of your desitions, i would have loved to see that on previous games, and i absolutely LOVE Lilly as the villian she is, since she Is not the classic "tough bad guy" but actually a leader with a reasonable treat but a questionable process and even i find myself sometimes in kind of her side, wich makes her one of the best main antagonists in TWD
I was dating violet and I saved her as-well and holy sh11t I didn’t expect louis’s tongue to be cut off and he wasn’t even mad at me at all.. he literally hugged me and I almost cried because of how sweet he was 🥺
This is why I care more for Louis. In the situation he is captured, even if it caused him to get his tounge cut off (my poor boy!!) he NEVER blamed Clem! After she regained conciousness, he hugged her!!!
It sucks how because if this either Louis or Tenn dies. That's why you save Violet instead and let her die later so Louis, Clem, Tenn and AJ can be a happy family. Unfortunate for Louis' tongue tho :(
Its a tactic to make you think about your life choices, there is no good choice at the end of ep2, its a subtle way of choosing if either Louis gets Is tongue cut or Violet hates you for "abbandoning her"
So just watching this and reading the comments Everyone seems to complain about Louis and Violet But i kinda find it weird that skyboundgames changed Lilly's personality In ep 2 she was this grateful but ominous woman who basicly had selfish but good intentions Like in ep 2 you can see her almost having a mental breakdown after killing Mitch AND hesitated to kill Clementine when she had ALL the reasons to do so for long enough till Clem got saved not to mention she had no intention if harming anyone in that camp But in this ep tho She's literally just female Neagan, had no problem tortureing teen AND KILLING CHILDREN (granted she failed to kill Tenn but still...)
I'm wondering about that too. Like she seemed to still have some good in her in Ep2, but in Ep3 she became completely heartless. Skybound claims they didn't change the script though. So I don't know, but yeah, its fucked up. Poor James at the end. (If you choose to spare her).
The reason she was upset about killing Mitch is that she came there to recruit them not kill them. Killing Mitch was a waste and as we find out she was taught waste is a bad thing. It was one less potential soldier to bring back. She didn't have to kill him, she's a grown woman with military training she could have easy subdued Mitch. The only one she doesn't want to kill is Clementine because of their "history". Her character has actually been pretty consistent.
I think the reason Violet was so angry is because of what happened in her past. Minnie, the other kids. Louis just has a different personality. He pushes those thoughts away when Violet hides from them. She’s scared, she thinks she’s alone and that’s why she’s so angry when you leave her.
I feel like Clementine needs someone who is always positive like Louis, she's just been through a lot of hard stuff so i prefer Louis better, just my opinion
whats worse 1 Louis having no tongue, which is horrible 2 Violet being 100% ok and is still mad even though you were in a hurry and didnt have time to save her i think i would save Louis, his tongue was cut off and i know tongue heals but if its that bad of an injury i dont know, if it does it will take months at least, violet is totally ok, but still mad, if someone should be mad it should be Louis, he will never sing again... he still loves you... reply 1 if team louis or reply 2 if team violet
His tongue will never grow back. It doesn't heal. It's exactly the same as someone cutting off an arm or leg, you'll never regain that limb nor the use of it.
@@estrella_star you didn't take her mental issue with trust into account, did you? Just like everyone else. They'd rather have more conflict than good relationships. That's one less tongue, but we're all still friends in the end. Right? LOL nope fuck that. Let's give ourselves a reason to hate people by sparking they're personal problems. That's you and everyone else.
Violet is blind in one eye and partially blind in the other. So it evens out. Both of the characters have something terrible happen to them. In my opinion and most, sight is more important than speech, for the most part. Not only that, this was violet at her worst times. Sad to see that people only judge her from her worst times rather than her best. And to conclude this paragraph, violet apologized for how she acted, and Clem accepted it, no matter what, there fore, everything is cool. That's not Violet's character all the time.
Violet has her "best" times but that doesn't even matter because everything she does is terrible. And don't start on that stupid vote thing after Marlon died. It felt so forced, and she didn't even give the guy some mercey. It's not like I'm okay with what he did but Louis is much more realistic.
@@crabby4911 Yep, I've been working on the interrogation scene since day 1 but there are many dialogues that depends on Episode 1 and 2 so I needed to go through them to get all of them. For example, there are 4 different ways AJ can wake up Abel. Will post it probably soon and then the full interrogation scene once I am sure I didn't miss any dialogue.
A lot of people are gonna hate on me for this, but honestly I do understand Violet. I’m not comparing being heartbroken with getting your tongue cut out but I definitely understand Violet. You see, Violet’s character is someone who has been hurt and abandoned several times. By her family, by the people who worked at the boarding school and my guess is that when she finds out Minnie is alive and later when she meets her again and realizes Minnie no longer cares for them, she feels abandoned again. Violet was hurt and still kinda remains so and you can tell by the why she talks and the looks, also how she tries so hard to keep Clem around when the Marlon thing goes down. Violet is distrustful and afraid. She’s scared that she’ll be abandoned again and when she meets Clem she feels as though Clem is someone who, unlike the rest, will stay. She thinks Clem will stay, that she won’t abandon her. She wants her to stick around. Violet develops a lot of care an affection for Clementine and when you don’t choose her she’s definitely heartbroken. Because she sees how she is, once again, someone disposable, like she doesn’t matter that much. She believed Clem to be the one person who finally wouldn’t let go of her, someone that wouldn’t abandon her and when you don’t choose her she gives up on everything. Violet is really fragile and hurt and sad, more than she shows. So you see, I used to be, kinda still am, someone like Violet. And I also used to love someone like Violet as well. And, when you’re someone that has been left and abandoned over and over again and you finally meet someone that looks like they’ll stay, that doesn’t seem like they’ll leave you too, and they do... it breaks something inside of you. It really hurts you and turns you into this bitter, distrustful, sad and lonely person. You feel worthless, and unlovable and you stop caring because you feel like nobody did for you ever, nobody cared for you and you always did and you feel as though it’s unfair. Of course losing your tongue is far more worse but it’s easy to say Violet’s being petty when she complains if you don’t take the time to look into her and her character and see what’s so broken. I did and I understand Violet, I also used to be someone like her so, I’m not mad at her. I don’t blame her, either. That’s also a reason she’s not physically hurt. She doesn’t care anymore because she’s hurt so she does what she’s told because she feels like she doesn’t have anything to lose, like nothing’s worth it. So she doesn’t cause trouble because she’s so sad she’s not interested in rebelling against anything. I’m so sorry for Louis though but people saying “If you save Violet, Louis gets his tongue cut out but if you save him Violet complains”... I mean it wasn’t Violet’s nor Clementine’s fault that that happened to Louis so...? I absolutely love Violet, and Violentine.
Its stupid how so many people ship clem and vi together when vi is so clearly a horrible person and the only reason that they are shipped is probably for *representation*
Thing is I never disliked violet, I liked her personality and all but I always prefered Louis so I saved him then, when I saw what violet does when u don't save her I was mad at her but didn't hate her, but then I saw what Louis does if u don't save him (spoiler) he gets his freaking tounge cut out and he has every right to be mad at clem but he isn't he hugs her and cries while violet betrays u, now I hate violet 😠
When I saw Louis's tongue-cut scene and still smiling and hugging our Clem, he was glad she was there, I cried like a baby. And I checked and regardless if you followed the romantic path or not with him he would still be grateful. I thought they would do something to Violet as they had done to Louis and I was going to cry more, but when I saw that Violet did not suffer and still began to hate our Clem I was very angry. I did not ship Clem with Violet from the beginning because the two being strong and active would not work, and I ship Clem with Louis just a little, although I really like his personality to be happy and try to make others happy too , I thought he was weak because he did not have as many experiences as our Clem had and it was completely understandable, I thought that if he had more experiences I would let him be my son-in-law. The reactions he had in the cell scene really shocked me, Louis took the gun and fired it, even if he hesitated a little, he still shot, he wanted to protect someone important to him, even though he ended up killing an outcast woman and not Minerva, he at least tried. His reaction was completely normal with the mentality he still had. Despite always killing zombies he never killed a person, which would shock anyone who lived in our era before, and his mentality is the one we have, that killing a human being is wrong and so he repeated several times "Me sorry "for the woman he killed, if he felt guilty. And when Clem went to look for AJ, despite being afraid of what he did, he still got up and tried to say that he could still follow our Clem.
I just hope the homophobics don't come in and say "This is why we gay/lesbian relationships don't work out!" It's not about them being gay or straight, etc. It's about their feelings. :'(
@@BlackWingedSeraphX Well statistically, homosexual relationships have a much higher rate of having abuse present. So their relationship is quite accurate
11:30 if I was clementine: “Ya know Lily, I’m having a hard time with this picture you’re painting of your father being respectable, because the last time I saw him he had his head crushed like a grape. And it’s even harder to respect you... because you couldn’t even save him.”
And then Lilly's response if Kenny killed him: "Yeah, I couldn't save him from someone who snuck up and crushed his head in a split-second. Just like you couldn't save Mitch from getting stabbed in the throat in that split-second. If only you were a better shot, huh?" Or, alternatively: "Yeah, I couldn't save him... because your precious Lee was holding me back and keeping me from helping him. As long as we're pretending other people have no effect on our actions, go ahead and try to save your friends right now while you got me and Minnie here aiming weapons at you. See how successful that goes."
12:10 starting from here, the music in the background makes my heart feel like a weird feeling, but a good one, makes my heart feel of emotions, along with the quality of this game, its a weird combo. But it makes me feel emotional. Maybe I'm just weird. I can't explain the feeling.
Anyone else love Lilly's 'evil smirk' at about 15:23? When Louis yells "I'd rather die than become that!" lol, the way she nods its like she's silently saying "You heard the man....lets give him what he wants."
I understand people want Clem to be with a girl just for the sake of...wanting her to be with a girl but don’t let that want cloud your common sense when it comes to someone showing you who they are. We all know by now that Violet has some trauma but what really gets me is that her attitude isn’t the same for when you save her. Her reaction shows you her true self. Everyone has flaws indeed, I can understand her being disappointed but she’s acting as if Clementine saved Louis and rode off into the sunset with him, AJ and the others. If Clementine would have done that (which she wouldn’t have) then I’d understand her response but this response was so uncalled for. I see people saying she acts this way because she has abandonment issues but it’s not an excuse nor does it justify the behavior. To say she will stop Clem from fighting the Raiders , the fact that she stopped Clem from trying to escape , is a problem and it shows what kind of person she really is. She got in the way of us trying to get to AJ and that is a no-go. Abandonment issues, insecurities or not, what Violet did was not ok. I will not excuse someone’s nasty response because they have issues. I expected Violet to be somewhat disappointed with Clem because of the decision but to full on treat Clem that way was not cool.
Can I just say, Violet fked up on the boat but apologizes later. She was so wrapped up in her own sht similar to HOW SHE LITERALLY QUOTED IT, and also similar to Louis. He lost his best friend (who was fking crazy) and kicked us out but apologized later. Also just like Minnie and Violet situation. Hmmmm 🧐 This is why the Violet hate is so hilarious. What if a goofball got saved over you when you’ve been loyal the whole time. Yeah I’d be pretty pssed too. Obviously not that pissed but still……
Louis is the 🐐, amazing dude, people don’t like him because they either want LGBTQ or didn’t appeal to him at the start, but before all of those options come into play, Louis sings you a song and violet doesn’t like you. Hmmm hard decision

@Overreigned If you don't understand Violet, don't hate on her
Fr Louis is a real one 🧡
I don’t think Violet can come around. She’s got serious mental issues, just like Minerva

Violet has trouble trusting people. She only lost: her grandparents, Minnie&Sophie and her parents(that threw her into a school for kids with problems)
She wants to be sure she can rely on people, so she can choose people that choose her.
(this is how I see the situation, my words are based ONLY on the content we were given, i don't know the characters' development in the next episode.)
P.S.: At first, I started disliking Violet because of her actions in this scene, but I later understood, from other fans, that she has the rights to feel abandoned and lost. She clearly wasn't in the best mental state at the start, and, if you know about the reason she went to ericson and that shit, we know that she had strong separation and trust issues with other people.
@@lifelongache So true
Exactly, guys. Besides, looking at both backstories of Louis and Violet, we see they're both troubled, of course. But then again, we have a girl that lost her grandmother in such a young age and just stood there, without knowing what to do X a rich boy, that seemed unhappy by the fact his father denied him singing lessons. We must FUCKING ANYLISE why they acted the way they did the whole season. But how @river said, it's easier to look up the surface anyway. People love strong and misunderstood characters, but only if they
"redeem" and got their personality changed A LOT after some time.
Tbh in my opinion I think Louis is more worth it than Violent.
Violet is more useful

If she saw Clem holding a bow, she likely saw Louis being forced back too. She isn't the best mentally, but surely she would have realised that she would be able to handle the delta more than Louis (evidently) could. I understand her distaste for Clem, but then you have her other friends who definitely don't want to be there. Even if she didn't want to go home she shouldn't want to stop them from going home.
Does anyone see a pattern
In Ep 2 Louis mad at you
In Ep 3 if you save Louis Vi mad you
Yeah, due to the influence of old friends that turns them against you.
Except for the fact that Louis didn't hate them. He was mad at them, but still he had a pretty solid reason.
Pretty cool Guys
Violet “I stop you myself”
Clementine “ hold my hat”
louis doesn’t deserve any of what happened to him when he had gotten his tongue cut out. People who hate him forget how toxic violet is, and disgusting if a person she was to the people she knew for years only to turn her back on them like she did with Clementine. @@torrinashley6076 On a split second/snap decision. Holding a grudge over something like that is juvenile af.
@@BlackWingedSeraphX I guess. But you gotta note that bonds are more important than unnecessary conflict. That's why I chose violet over Louis.
Just want to mention,
When Louis got his tongue cut off because Clem saved Violet instead of him, he never turned on her.. he even smiled at her.
Same. And Louis is overall more complicated and just simply a better character

Yeah but we didn't kill her best friend for years here, we made a decision to save another person who was her friend
THANK YOUUUUU
Louis' reaction made sense. His best friend got killed in a situation that could've been fixed by just talking about it, and he eventually forgave them with some really good development. And keep in mind, if Louis gets captured, his tongue gets cut out! That gives him "some" reason to actually be mad at Clem but he isn't even upset when she shows up. Violet betrays Clem and acts like a whiny little brat because she had to make a decision. And don't even bother to give the "she voted for them" excuse. It doesn't even matter in the end and her reaction towards Marlon's death doesn't make any sense. If you really want me to explain why, then you shouldn't bother asking because you're not even worth the answer.
at least he didnt full out attack her and tried to get her killed
Kent Mudle, creative director of the game, has this to say in his twitter regarding Violet's change in personality:
I’ve actually seen some very thoughtful write ups that explain this well, but the gist here is, you need to imagine all this from Violet’s perspective.
(if you do go to the roof, you can see Violet has issues about being left behind by many people she’d cared for, they all leave, but Clementine came back)
Then she SEES Clementine save Louis instead of her.
The people you LOVE, die!”)
I think her reaction is human, and I appreciate the players I see that understand that.
MORE PEOPLE NEED TO SEE THIS BECAUSE EVERYONE JUST THINKS VIOLETS SOME MONSTER

If it's just a game, than why even bother watching these videos? You clearly don't seem to care about it
It's personality based.Louis is the light hearted, morale boosting, happy go lucky guy, who we all know needs to be more... serious and responsible (given their situation).
Neither did Omar and Aasim)
While Violet is this serious, pragmatic, fiercely loyal (when u have proven that youre actually worth that said loyalty- slow to trust), introverted gal.
Actually getting your mind fucked is far worse than losing a body part because
1:you will mostly never change back to normal
2:you might suicide, not enjoying life ever again etc
3:it will greatly affect others around you
But it depends on the gravity of it
@@Llama_Loca What, both Violet and Louis had their mind fucked, Just looking at Louis when Lilly shows up, shows he is shocked and afraid, so lets take a look at the facts, Violet got her mind fucked and attacked Clementine, Louis lost his tongue (so he will never talk again, and what about eating?) Also he obviously went through a trauma and was happy when he saw Clementine, so yeah Louis in prison was way worse and he wasn't even mad at Clem
@@elaste I wasn't saying violet had it worse,I just corrected the fact that you said "losing a body part is way worse than getting your mind fucked" and I also said that it depends In the bodypart lost
there’s definitely ups and downs to each option so it’s always debatable. i personally prefer louis thogh
(And all the Clouis shippers will be happy)

Everyone seems to complain about Louis and Violet
But i kinda find it weird that skyboundgames changed Lilly's personality
In ep 2 she was this grateful but ominous woman who basicly had selfish but good intentions
Like in ep 2 you can see her almost having a mental breakdown after killing Mitch AND hesitated to kill Clementine when she had ALL the reasons to do so for long enough till Clem got saved not to mention she had no intention if harming anyone in that camp
But in this ep tho
She's literally just female Neagan, had no problem tortureing teen AND KILLING CHILDREN (granted she failed to kill Tenn but still...)

Martu finally someone reasonable in this comment section
Nigga who is reading allat
Yeah absoluty it's rallystic not for Luis
Its stupid how so many people ship clem and vi together when vi is so clearly a horrible person and the only reason that they are shipped is probably for *representation*
Thing is I never disliked violet, I liked her personality and all but I always prefered Louis so I saved him then, when I saw what violet does when u don't save her I was mad at her but didn't hate her, but then I saw what Louis does if u don't save him (spoiler) he gets his freaking tounge cut out and he has every right to be mad at clem but he isn't he hugs her and cries while violet betrays u, now I hate violet 😠
Violet being like this breaks my heart 💔, she just wants to be accepted and for everyone to be safe and happy.
True
Kids being forced to fight in a war that has nothing to do with them? Fuck that.
Clementine vs Violet = Lee vs Kenny
Now that's what I call *FACTS*-
I just hope the homophobics don't come in and say "This is why we gay/lesbian relationships don't work out!"
It's not about them being gay or straight, etc. It's about their feelings. :'(
Yeah, I don't ship Clem with Vi, but the homophobia needs to fuck off. People here can be so ignorant.
P sure no one e e fandom has said that
Well statistically, homosexual relationships have a much higher rate of having abuse present.

If only you were a better shot, huh?"
Or, alternatively: "Yeah, I couldn't save him... because your precious Lee was holding me back and keeping me from helping him.

I expected Violet to be somewhat disappointed with Clem because of the decision but to full on treat Clem that way was not cool.
unpopular Preach 🙌🏻🙌🏻 She’s abusive and it’s disgusting frankly.
Hmmmm 🧐
This is why the Violet hate is so hilarious. Like people make her entire character bad just for one bad moment she had. NOT TO MENTION SHES TRAUMATIZED ASF AND SHE HAS TRUST ISSUES AND LACK OF SOCIAL SKILLS. also put yourself in her situation. What if a goofball got saved over you when you’ve been loyal the whole time. Yeah I’d be pretty pssed too. Obviously not that pissed but still……
Most people only choose Violet because they want an LGBTQ relationship they even admitted it
Yeah and half the other idiots playing as themselves and not Clementine who clear as day liked Louis all season
So?
Louis is the 🐐, amazing dude, people don’t like him because they either want LGBTQ or didn’t appeal to him at the start, but before all of those options come into play, Louis sings you a song and violet doesn’t like you. Hmmm hard decision
so what
