It is such a cool thing to hear Tilt & his buddy’s tell what it was like for them over there. Thanks Jocko, John & the team! 🙏🏽🇺🇸👍🏽
So why they tribunalling?
Man these SOG episodes are amazing! They need to make a 3 hr movie about these guys. At least an intensive documentary
These stories are incredible. Invaluable, thank you Mr. Willink, Mr. Meyer, and all your amazing guests.
This stuff is so good, in every way. SOGCast's existence validates the existence of the internet, despite all the negatives.
Ive never spent anywhere near the time listening to something on any social media platforms, than I have these, Sogcast's! Thank you so much for your service, and stories! God bless!
Thank you Mr. Meyer for letting these hero's tell their stories .
I do really enjoy SOGCAST. Thanks for the support of these guys Jocko!

*Jocko Willink is the Reluctant Leader we need.*
.....We know you've done enough, but your Nation needs you.
🇺🇸 *2024* 🦅
The powers that be would never let that happen.
I love Tilt. So cool you have guys on that served in SOG with you. Much Respect to all of you
Ron Owens could do everything from Rats to Hammerheads. Ron was prepared for anything on either side of fence. Amazing person! Thank you for you ALL Sacrifices.
Another awesome SOGCAST. John and Big O- I'm so proud to call you both friends.
What a curious moment to abruptly end
I just went over to Apple podcasts, found the episode there, and listened to the last 17 minutes. It's a 2 hour episode.
God Bless you Tilt, and thank you Jocko for giving Tilt this platform. I have all your books and just love learning more from these guys.
Tilt back with the history that needs to see the light of day
I love these pod cast wish you had more. I listen to them over an over
you guys are real life heros just incredible i watch these episodes over and over i cant get enough of seeing your courage utterly incredible !!!
I love hearing these stories. Especially when they go deep into killing in those tough missions, which all were hard. I'm sure this gives these guys an outlet to get this off their chest, so to speak.
My Dad was drafted in 1968 & I can not get a word out of him about his tours in the 25th ID. He's 73 now & loves to talk about the good Ole days after I was born in 1970 but, everytime I would ask anything about his service days in the Army. He changes the topic & I don't push it. He got out in 1970 when I was born as they got the word that their division was headed back to Hawaii, Honorable Discharge. Boy, he was a rough Dad growing up also, but looking back. I wouldn't have it any other way.
I was with the 1/27th Wolfhounds. When they went home I was sent to the Americal Div. to replace the soldiers who were killed when FSB Mary Ann was overran by sappers.
God bless all of them but of course the men of SOG. Thank you truly for your service.
I’ve listened to pretty much every podcast or interview conducted with or by Mr. John Stryker Meyer and the man is fearless. Numerous times he volunteered to risk his life to save his comrades, but the thought of swimming with hammerhead sharks produces a laugh at 1:14:03 that proves he may just be human.
Furthermore, so many of the former SOG operators have lived some amazing lives after leaving Vietnam, but Big O may one of the most interesting career arcs detailed during these podcasts. Simply amazing!
Is there a second part or conclusion to this interview?
I'm not thankful enough. But I'm grateful. Thank you. I really mean that. But from what I've gathered I haven't had your gentleman's experience. I'm humbled. God bless you. And I hope my grandmother goddess blesses me. 🍉
Thank you Big O.
I was waiting for this.
Respect from Romania 🇷🇴
Thank you Tilt, thank you Jocko .
Love this . Beings back memories . I was running around Thailand in the 60's . I liked the Thai people . When we got to spend some time in Bangkok which was a big city then . I remember a bottle of Gin coasting ninety cents .
❤ man y’all I am lost for words
Y’all are awesome 🤩
Is it possible for this Marine to meet any of you Legends??? You guys are my heros🇺🇸@jockopodcast @Tilt
All of you are awesome and squared away!!! By the way have you ever studied the solar deities named Heru & RA? They have the same Soul(SoL).
Wow- my boring life.
Appreciate the share Ron!
Always look forward to these podcasts.
Thanks for the stories! Keep em coming
Much respect
I recognize the ORLEANS hotel rooms from SOAR… much respect to Tilt and the BIG O
It goes to show that you never know who you're walking among.... These "old guys" are certified badasses. Also, Speak softly and carry a big stick😎.....
Great interviews. Keep em coming Tilt. Love it.
Thank You Gentlemen. Welcome Home
I welded pipe at Sharon Harris Nuke Plant on a temporary outage. I also worked for Duke Fluor Daniel Construction in the Duke Power Coal Fleet as a Bull Rigger and later a pipe and Boiler Tube Welder.
Finished so abruptly? Is there a part two ?
What a story! Amazing.
Love these!!!
I just love these SOGCasts. There is no one like MACV-SOG! But where is the rest of the interview? It stops early.
….and only left side audio
Hey chick great video, I agree with everything you said here, my go to is an AR15 in 556. I love my battle rifles in 308 and my AKs but I would choose the AR15 because of parts availability, and it can be modified really easily for your needs. With the AR15 mags and ammo are both lighter and smaller than 308 and 762 so you can carry and store a shit ton. The AR15 is the best at anything but its decent at everything. The AR15 can be used to hunt , home defense, hell people have killed polar bears with AR15s. You can shoot an ar15 out to 500 yards which is more than enough for where I live but you can put some good glass on one and get hits over 700 if you put some good glass on it and know what you're doing.
Wish Roy Beneviedes was still here, would love to hear more of his stories, try and get someone that was on a team with him to come on, I believe he was involved with across the fence activities
He most certainly was. See his book, "Legend: The Incredible Story of Green Beret Sergeant Roy Benavidez's Heroic Mission to Rescue a Special Forces Team Caught Behind Enemy Lines" by Eric Blehm (an excellent writer). =)
Great interview brothers 👍
So proud of the great soldiers.
Wish they never worked for liars.
We Soldiers have been working for Liars since the 1st politician learned to speak.
There were certainly no shortage of liars when I served, but nothing compared to the Communists today that have gained traction mostly through stupidity and corruption. Sad but true. Milley and Austin, don’t make me vomit.
Soooo great
I can hear it just fine
Hell yeah!
This guy has to be one of the most interesting men in the world! Such an incredible amount of experiences…what a life to live!
Well done Stryker.
Great show 👍
Is it just me or did they put fortunate son in the background?
Nice hearing Art Driscoll’s name.
It’s unbelievable to me that people do not know what MAC-V-SOG actually stands for.
Most people today, especially young people, know absolutely nothing about such times, such men and the great heroes that still live among them - and shake their heads at how ignorant and brainwashed most of these young pups are.
@@davidhamilton6294 yeah brainwashed is exactly right and it starts in the public schools and then when they go to college they really get the full Monty mind fu*k treatment.
Amazing stories
You men are the best 👌
Will there be a Part 2 ?
That ending tho…. what happened after that????
Abrupt ending ?
Audio works
Sound cuts out at 4:05 for me for some reason.
Did you run into Herb Forbes at 5th SFG
What is that Ron is wearing around his neck, I've seen a few old boys sporting them?
Right out of the gate, . . . when can I meet Jocko?
Only have audio in one ear bud
Same here. I think the first couple minutes were in both buds, but the rest so far has only been in one.
Best podcasts that exists . Hands down sog soldiers must of been mentally ill because doing what they did is so crazy , biggest set of balls in history
So if he was on the last u.s. submarine that was sold to Argentina it would have had to have been the USS catfish what's the argentinians renamed to the Santa Fe but the timeline doesnt seem right as it was decomissioned in 71 The last diesel-powered ship in the Navy was the USS blueback which was decommissioned in 1990 which better fits the timeline
I am getting flashbacks to Mike from breaking bad.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
WinDEX mirrior , huge mystery appeared.. danger close china
Tilt Sir do you have any black sog vet's you can interview?

To be continued………
Audio needs improvement
The Mickey Mouse boots and White Star skies. They had to be almost 7 feet long with poles shoulder high. The Chippewa boots are heavy and clunky for mountaineering, tuff to get a toe hold while on Belay.
Not Zulu company ZaC company and Xachary company. I had a native dream , war atlast war at last war atlast ..wa anka Tanka Ankh ahaw..neter bity. Like a falcon speak...
So this was an awesome 😎
With all due respect 🫡
but damn… the interviewing skills need to improve… let the guest talk… even if he needs to pause and think… stop filling in for him so much… it interrupts the story… takes away from the emotion build up of the story…
I get it you were there too… but let’s hear his story.. yours next episode or something…
Semper Fi
0811 Jarhead
Much respect 🫡 to both of you real men… you guys don’t exist in this softened woke military… when I was in in 2000 I thought we were the liberal generation but damn… they are flat out cross dressing in uniform 🤦♂️ god help us all
Tilt…your audio is a mess, and only coming out of the left channel. That should be an easy fix, on your end. Just a friendly FYI, as it’s really distracting to listen to like that.
Mickey Mouse boots!!
Did these guys, or you guys really eat babys? Why do we hear that so much? Also- Can you tell us what a Charlie horse was? What was it used for? Did they get eaten too? What breed of horse were they? Thanks, and thank you for services...
Interested to know how you Vietnam veterans feel about fort Benning name change to fort Moore ?
